SimGuruRyan confirmed in his new The Sims Blog post that Toddlers and Pools won’t be included in September’s release of The Sims 4.
Toddlers:
As for ages, we have babies, children, teens, young adults, adults and elders.
Pools:
And though pool building won’t be available in September, we do have a new Fountain Tool so you can create sophisticated landscapes.
How come your not added toddlers on the sims 4 😥
No toddlers? That’s very odd. I hope they add them in with the first expansion at least 😕
But I think babies have sort of replaced toddlers. So from this I understand that you can create a baby in CAS
I don’t care a bout the pools, but toddlers? You serious?
How in the world can you not have toddlers…THEY’RE AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE GAME!! That makes me NOT want to get the Sims 4. Honestly, I could have dealt with not having CASt, but to not have toddlers…that definitely makes me not want the game. I mean not only is it an essential part of the game, its a part of life!! This is a huge setback for the Sims team
You guys really need to have all life stages we do in real life how can you just take a life stage we actually go through out I was excited but now I don’t know if I want the sims 4 no toddlers?you can’t skip from baby straight to child that is so unrealistic if you do not fix this you are gonna lose a lot of fans
Oh come on people, toddlers were useless, pools were nice, but they’re gonna add both things in the future, it’s not gonna be the end of the world, first test the game to judge it, don’t judge something before it’s not even complete.
It was a bit obvious those things were not gonna be in the game, in CAS there was no swimwear and no toddler life stage, I got more disapointed about pools than about toddlers, but I’m not gonna cancel mu pre-order because of some features they’re gonna add later, so stop whining and think a little.

I cant believe theres isn’t no pools or toddlers I think EA have got really lazy here just to make money by doing something really basic how can a baby jump to a child very strange I can understand sims 1 doing that but sims 4 :/ EA have not done good here I have really enjoyed the other sims games.
