The Maxis team is testing a new feature and needs your help!
The Sims Team has posted a new message on The Sims 4 Help forum, asking players for their Save Files as they look into a new feature. They’ve specificalyl requested “save files with multi-generational families”, so we’re assuming it’s something to do with The Sims 4 Royalty & Legacy Expansion Pack.

Hey Simmers,
We’re currently testing a new feature and are looking for save files with multi-generational families to help us with testing. Ideally, these saves would include several generations with family connections such as marriages, children, cousins, aunts, uncles, and great grandparents.
What we’re looking for:
- Save files with 3+ families spanning 3–5+ generations.
- Lots of interconnected family relationships (cousins, aunts/uncles, great-aunts/uncles, etc.)
- Bonus if larger families have intermarried, linking family trees.
- Any packs are welcome, including base game! Mods are fine to include!

I’m guessing they’re expanding family trees as part of the free base game update coming alongside Royalty & Legacy
Wouldn’t this be a little late to test since the pack is coming out in a month already if it is for the Royalty EP? I sure would think it’s already done as the trailer just dropped?
I mean, if you’re still in a testing phase of something in a month away from the release date…then I don’t have high hopes lol.
Probably for Project X’s compatibility with old saves.
I would love to give you my generations that I’ve built but your last update screwed up my save file so bad I don’t have them anymore I had to start all over. Note it wasn’t the patch that was for the pictures and all that It was the one before.
I suggest asking Mirarae who does Royal sims gameplay on YouTube and has multiple intermarriages
I don’t think i have a save like this,, i should check though.
Someone’s probably like ”Oh, i got the PERFECT save for this!!!!!!”.
