The Sims 4 StrangerVille Game Pack was announced out of the blue with only few days away from the pack’s release!
The game is scheduled to release on February 26th, 2019. Now, according to previous Game Pack releases this one isn’t going to be any different. The pack will become available for purchase on Origin starting at 9:30AM PT / 6:30PM CET / 5:30PM BT. We know that time zones can get very confusing which is why we’ve created this countdown post that counts down exactly to the release of The Sims 4 StrangerVille on PC and Mac!
Once the timer hits zero you’ll be able to get the pack immediately from Origin.com and the Origin client. You may also find the pack listed on retailers such as Amazon, GAME UK and so on but they aren’t that quick to releasing the pack on the same day at the same time.

Are you sure the counter is correct? The pack is supposed to be released at 7PM CET, this countdown counts down to 6.30PM CET…
So annoyed they aren’t doing rolling release….it comes out at 3am for me :/

I love Stranger Things!!! So, I’m probably going to be playing on the Sims 4 even more until someone unplugs my computer from the wall! 🙂

It really sucks to live in Norway where it is February the 26. right now and not being able to buy the game. I do understand why, but I almost can’t wait 🙁

Ughh, they arent releasing it at each time zone? They’re releasing it all at once everywhere? Gross. Why? Doesnt it cause problems when everyone in the world is trying to download the same game at the same time from the same place…
it wouldn’t be fair, u cant give germany the pack at 11:00am then china at 5:00pm at different times.
i think that’s what is happening now, I just can’t download the game even though the releasing time is passed.

I saw the page for strangerville just for a second and I think there was something that said it wasn’t available on origin anymore and needs to be bought on the official website? I’m so confused ,,,

I managed to buy it via the origin website and not the origin client, maybe that helps one of you as well 🙂
Make sure it’s actually downloaded cause mine does that but sometimes the downloads pause or just doesn’t download but it says in the game that I have it

I couldn’t purchase the game from origin, the screen was frozen without an option of purchasing, I had to play the sims then when the main menu loaded showing all the games on the left side, it showed the game icon for Strangerville. I clicked on it and a pop up came up for Origin then I was able to purchase it from there.
Still not working in Canada. It says the item is not purchasable yet…

It supposed to be available but every time I click on it in the store it takes me to purchase for digital deluxe package. I have all packs and expansions, what is up?
It won’t even let me buy it!! It’s ready for download but every time I click on it in origin it brings me to the “sims 4 digital deluxe upgrade” and won’t let me purchase the actual pack! I don’t WANT to buy this deluxe upgrade, thanks. I don’t know why it’s making me. I’ve tried to download this pack so many times!!
