The Sims 4 September Gallery CAS Challenge Highlights

If, like me, you love creating new characters for The Sims 4, it is time you explored Gallery challenges. They are a great way to hone your Create A Sim (CAS) skills and socialize with other Sims 4 players.

For the uninitiated, CAS Gallery challenges are events created by users of The Sims 4 Gallery. The host creates a theme for their challenge.  Themes could be as simple as design a Sim that has a certain hair color or something far more elaborate. Entering is easy as creating an original Sim that fits the theme.

Locating the challenges can be somewhat of a challenge in itself. Rather than making you hunt and peck, I’ve gone through The Gallery and pulled out a selection of CAS challenges being hosted on The Sims 4 Gallery during September.

Gamer Challenge – Hosted By Sims4Sarah

Video Games Day is on September 12th. Since all Simmers have video games as a common interest, we are going to celebrate with my Gamer Challenge. Create an original gamer Sim to participate. The Gamer Challenge ends on October 1st.

Realm of Magic Challenge – Hosted by JauneLily

JauneLily’s Realm of Magic Challenge is for those who can’t wait for the new pack to come out later this month. To enter, make a Sim of any age or gender that is some kind of a magical being. Unlike most challenges, CC is allowed, The Realm of Magic Challenge ends on September 9th.

Sim Dragrace Challenge – Hosted by Eliyawoods

Dragrace has come to The Sims 4 by way of Eliyawoods’s Sim Dragrace Challenge.  Create a drag queen Sim, complete with all her outfits, to enter this challenge. The Dragrace Challenge ends on October 31st.

Golden Challenge – Hosted by TheOctanePumpkin

Everything is golden around TheOctanePumpkin this month.  Her Golden Challenge asks creators to make a Sim and have every item of their everyday outfit include the color gold. The challenge ends September 18th.

SimSharky’s Who Goes There Challenge imagines that the Simpocalypse has taken place. Their Sim is convinced he is the last Sim on Earth. To enter, create a Sim that also thinks they are the lone Sim survivor. Maybe they will be allowed to join him in his bunker and they can rebuild society together.  The Who Goes There Challenge ends September 27th.

Hip Grannies Challenge – Hosted by Nolson96

Create a family of three or more Sims to enter the Family Challenge from meredithndodson.  She allows CC to be used in the challenge.  The Family Challenge ends September 29th.

Love is in the air thanks to the Interesting Love Challenge from Sparky24678. Creators are asked to make two Sims. One Sim is ‘normal’ and the other less so.

Countdown to the release of The Sims 4 Realm of Magic

The Sims 4 Realm of Magic is the 8th Game Pack in The Sims 4 series set to release on September 10th, 2019 for PC/Mac with the Console release slated for October 15th, 2019.

According to previous Game Pack and Stuff Pack releases this one probably isn’t going to be any different. Because these two pack types don’t get a pre-order page on Origin, they become available and listed on the Origin store at around 9:30AM PT / 18:30 CET / 17:30 BT.

Because we know that time zones can get confusing we’ve made a special countdown down below that counts to the exact moment of when The Sims 4 Realm of Magic Game Pack should be listed for purchase on Origin.

For all of the latest news and updates on this Game Pack stay tuned to our Realm of Magic News Category!

We’ll also be hosting a special Launch Party Livestream a few hours before the release to celebrate the launch of this pack on our YouTube Channel! The stream begins at 7AM PT / 3PM CET /  2PM BT!

Although it’s not happening this week – we’re just 8 days away from the release of The Sims 4 Realm of Magic Game Pack on PC / Mac! The Game Pack is scheduled for a release on September 10th, 2019. After a few weeks of waiting Sims 4 Studio, a tool used for many things including creating Mods, CC and more has finally been updated for the latest version of The Sims 4 and is now supporting the latest pack – Moschino Stuff Pack.

The creators of this mod have stated that they’re sorry for the wait and that they don’t expect any delayed updates for future updates of The Sims 4.

Okay, so, I’m new to this site, and I just was really excited to come up with a challenge, and I’ve already started typing this once, and I accidentally closed the tab without saving (I meant to delete a different tab), and I’m now starting over. So the idea about this challenge, is, that you want to have a criminal mastermind, with a spouse, and a bunch of people that work for them, and to have a criminal family, and become the ultimate criminal! But I hope you enjoy!

Main Goal

-To reach level 10 in the Boss Career Branch, of The Criminal Job

Goals

-To Get Married And Have Full Relationship With Them

-Start With 1000 Simoleons

Artist shares a Simlish Song Session for an unnanounced The Sims 4 Pack

Beau Young Prince, an American rapper has just recently shared his latest studio session for his song Big Moe. So, what’s the catch you might ask? The studio session took place to re-record this song entirely in Simlish!

Now, you all may know that each new The Sims 4 Pack brings new Simlish songs – some from real artists that had to re-record their songs in Simlish and some from EA’s audio team which writes and records songs entirely from scratch.

Considering that Beau Young Prince has claimed that the recording session just took place, it means that this song won’t be included in the upcoming pack (The Sims 4 Realm of Magic Game Pack) but some other entirely different pack for The Sims 4.

Bria Layne – Growing as a Fashion Photographer

Starting Out

For a long time, Bria has always been interested in photography and now that she has saved up enough money to move out of her parent’s tiny house, she was able to make that dream a reality. Moving to the big city Bria was to find an apartment big enough for living and space to fit some equipment she managed to buy over time to make a little ‘photo studio’.

It wasn’t easy for Bria to find persons who were willing to give her a shot because she was an amateur but she was still hopeful because she was confident in her photography skill. While walking in the city Bria decided to take some photos of the scenery and upload them to Simstagram, while doing this someone noticed and took an interest in her, soon after that Bria was headed for great things.

The First Big Client

After a few clients/models, taking photos for couples, family photos even head shots, Bria was able to get her name out there and show people what she was capable of which made her a bit recognizable. In about a month Bria managed get more confident and people started to really appreciate her work.

While checking her email, Bria noticed she received an email from Octavia Moon requesting her to take the photos for her upcoming style shoot her because she was preparing for her album release. Bria was elated to have a client such as Octavia recognize her work and replied to the email instantly agreeing to do it.

Bria didn’t expect Octavia to be a nice person, she always thought everyone from the Pinnacles were self absorbed but she was wrong. Octavia was a really humble person and the way she treated her crew made Bria realize that not everyone was as high maintenance as she thought.

The job for Octavia took about three days to complete, making sure everything was perfect and there were no flaws with the photos. Octavia was really grateful for Bria, not only because she came through with the job, but because she was impressed at how professional Bria came out to be during this time.

Noticed

In a matter of time, Bria managed to get her name out in the open. She was able to obtain a lot of high profile models, being the photographer her some of the the most famous companies and she was also able to get a real studio during this time. People were aware of Bria and who she was but with appreciation comes disregard and there was a lot of that when Bria came into the spotlight but that didn’t stop her from doing what she did best.

Bria was really happy with what she had accomplished from being a photographer. If it wasn’t for her moving to the city she wouldn’t met the man in the city nor would she have been recognized for her talent.

When Island Living first released it included three NPC mermaids that were hidden in the game similar to Erwin Pries from Strangerville, with a recent update these sims became unhidden.

The sims now available in Manage Households include Nalani Mahi’ai (who was one of the sims featured in the Island Living renders and trailers) along with Kalamainu’u Iona, Ukupanipo Hekekia, and Paka’a Uha a new NPC mermaid was also added with the update.

The livestream, which begins on September 3rd, 2019 will showcase new Build / Buy + CAS content that we’ll be getting for free with a new The Sims 4 Base Game update to celebrate the game’s 5th anniversary.
