Traditions are far more broad than club activities, which are very specific, so I don’t think it would actually make sense to add more of them. I am having a hard time even thinking of something that could be added in a future pack that would make sense for a new tradition.

I would imagine Prom to be more similar to an event like the Birthday Party. I think when you get a chance to see how the holidays play, you’ll see that they play differently from events and club gatherings.

Sorry, not explaining this well. We did create specific traditions for things that make sense for holidays. However, I cannot think of anything we could add in a future pack that would require its own tradition instead of being part of a broad tradition.

After teasing us yesterday, SimGuruEmory has revealed to us what the household calendar’s will look like with a quick look at Bob & Eliza Pancakes calendar. As you can see from the image that SimGuruEmory shared all the information you need to know about upcoming holidays, your households work & school schedule, the upcoming days weather and also the temperature can all be found on the screen. The calendar will alert you the day before a holiday. If you want to see longer than that you have to open it up.

No. Holidays are worldwide (for your save). When you create one it is on the calendar for all the Sims there.
But… Not all Sims will care about all holiday traditions.

Sim Guru Grant has been tweeting again, and this time he’s said about Gardening! Now we already know Plants will be affected by the Seasons, but now we know we are getting an entire Overhaul!

The Sims team are teasing a little something over on Facebook with a 3D image of a Sim holding a present box with tomorrow’s date inside. The title of the post asks “READY FOR THE SIMS 4: Seasons?” As to what the meaning of the post is at the moment it is unclear however, we will update you when we know more!

The Sims Merch Store got plenty of new designs to celebrate the upcoming launch of The Sims 4 Seasons Expansion Pack. The new category called “Seasonal Salutations” features plenty of new designs for products including T-Shirts, Bags, Beach Towels and so much more.

EA is holding a special capture event at EA Play of The Sims 4 Seasons Expansion Pack later this week where select Game Changers will have an opportunity to capture footage and collect information and impressions of the pack.
This time around we can’t share exactly when we’ll be able to post captured Seasons content, but do know that you can expect it as we get closer to the release of the pack.
As there’s going to be a lot of footage from all sorts of EA Game Changers we’ve compiled a list of people attending The Sims 4 Seasons Capture Event. Make sure you follow them as they’ll be providing TONS of new Seasons information and footage.
