In the light of recent news regarding the latest quarterly teaser, SimGuruGraham wanted to clarify some things regarding the upcoming Toddlers Stuff Pack for The Sims 4. This isn’t the regular Q&A that you get after a full Stuff Pack announcement but it still has valuable info.
Unlikely in a Stuff Pack. Not sure if you’ve seen my discussions about things like Lounge Chairs, Swings, etc. Same concept here.

I believe sectional sofas would require some work from our build engineers, who aren’t allocated to Stuff Packs, so… look to larger packs.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 1, 2017
I don’t know about its own pack, but there’s no reason we wouldn’t consider it again as a feature in the future.

We try and avoid new counters/islands in SPs. When players see a new counter and island in the catalog, it looks like just two objects.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 1, 2017
In actuality, we have to build each counter as 7 individual objects, and islands are an additional 7 objects.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 1, 2017
It doesn’t end up being a good use of our object count, when SPs get to provide roughly 28 objects per pack.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 1, 2017
Perhaps someday? That won’t be in this Stuff Pack though.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 5, 2017
It’s a new dollhouse, with similar functionality to the ones that are already in-game. We aren’t showing any new gameplay in this teaser.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 5, 2017
That’s exactly what it is. We didn’t reveal the pack’s new gameplay in this teaser.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 5, 2017
Traits aren’t a problem for SPs, we just haven’t had everything align to add one yet.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 5, 2017
Depending on where we have room in our schedule for the community SP, I’d like to consider adding one.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 5, 2017
That’s not a costume chest, it’s a toy box. New gameplay will be revealed for the pack when it’s officially announced.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 6, 2017
@SimGuruGraham will there ever be an option to bulldoze lots from manage worlds?
— I Am Blossom (@iambIossom) July 6, 2017
I doubt it.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 6, 2017
Certainly simpler if we were to just do a few features like that compared to the whole catalog. No plans at this time though.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 6, 2017
Not in a Stuff Pack. Perhaps in a larger pack.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 6, 2017
Hard to say without digging into it further. We haven't seriously investigated doing an occult in a SP.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 6, 2017
I don't think it'd be particularly difficult, but it's hard to say how much time they'd take without an actual design for them.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 6, 2017
Using our past release cadence as a way to guess what we do next just won't be a particularly accurate way to predict Sims 4 releases.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) July 6, 2017
Simlish is for Sims. Icons are for players.

I would love to see a modern furniture pack, IKEA like objects, futuristic furniture, sculptures, and counters/cupboards. The new interactive item could be some kind of counter-sitting food machine that can instantly prepare any food perfectly regardless of cooking skill, and maybe even occasionally spawn a new food and be learn new recipes from it to make without the food machine.
