ARTICLE UPDATE: It’s been confirmed in the livestream that the content update will be coming out on May 27th!
The Sims Team has just confirmed in an official livestream for The Sims 4 Dream Home Decorator that The Sims 4 is getting a new content update!
In this content update one of the new things included is a free update to Create A Sim – which adds Likes and Dislikes for each specific Sim that you play with and create in Create A Sim!
The categories of Likes and Dislikes included are:
- Color
- Music Genre
- Activity
- Decor (exclusive to The Sims 4 Dream Home Decorator Pack)
There are in total 20 Likes and Dislikes that you can assign to your Sim. It’s been confirmed in the livestream as well that Sims will be able to earn them throughout Live Mode gameplay too.

The Likes and Dislikes Free Update should be released for The Sims 4 a few days before the release of The Sims 4 Dream Home Decorator Game Pack. We’ll keep you up to date as we know more!

Hopefully it impacts what they do autonomously especially with music. I wished they’d add some favorite food/food types.

i really hope so. i wish there was more customization for autonomous behaviours cuz without mods like mcc/slice of life etc all sims just end up basically having the same hobbies/listening to the same music which just gets boring after a while

Still waiting for npc sims to advance in their career, relationships, skills, have kids, randomly wear different outfits instead of just the every day one etc

I’ve spent 50 dollars on this worthless game, I’m done. I’m uninstalling it from my computer and never looking back. The downsides are just too much compared to like, the fact I can build cool things? The sims all act stupid and the same, the game is so boring is garbage. I genuinely think you would have a more interesting time playing roblox bloxburg and that game is also overpriced, but compared to sims… yeah I’d rather give roblox my money then EA ANY DAY
Tell me why my sims are all the same exact person regardless what they look like or what their traits are? I’m sick of being god and controlling every aspect of the game, I want it to be a simulation game I can interact with BUT ALSO WATCH THEM LIVE

its only 3 categories like what…. so disappointing barely adds any diversity to your sims. what about favourite foods, weather, interactions, ages, outfits and so much more

Fake news, its is today 27 May, no Dislike/Like updates. That opening is for the CAS story.
Do the likes and dislikes for music include stations from all expacs or other game packs you own? Because that sucks that METAL isn’t on the list.
