sims 4 2024 roadmap

The latest Sims 4 roadmap has arrived and it promises to be full of dazzle and sparkle! Okay, sounds intriguing. We’re liking it so far! The roadmap’s theme is “Cause a Sensation” and promises an SDX drop, a stuff pack, and four kits! Let’s dive into all the shiny new details!

Sims 4 roadmap

Prepare for a sensationally you season!

The Sims 4 roadmap seems to be centred around jewellery and self-care items which is a pretty fitting theme for the New Year. Lots of people’s New Year’s resolutions involve practicing better self-care habits so this roadmap couldn’t have come at a better time. We can’t wait to see what’s in store this season!

So, what exactly do we have to look forward to between January and April of 2024? A whole lot of kits, a stuff pack, and some free content, too, apparently!

Two Highly Anticipated Kits

Two Highly Anticipated Kits

This shouldn’t be much of a surprise if you remember the community vote that happened back in May of 2023. Simmers were given the opportunity to vote on a Build Kit and a CAS Kit.

For the Build Kit, Simmers had the option of a medieval castle theme or a futuristic theme. For the CAS Kit, the choices were between goth fashion and colourful rainbow fashion. In the end, medieval castles and goth fashion won the vote, but we were told that we wouldn’t see these kits until 2024.

Well, it’s 2024 now and people have been anticipating these two kits for nine months now, so it’s probably safe to say that the two anticipated kits are the medieval castle and goth fashion kits we voted on last year. This is further supported by a recent leak on the EA App.

One Beautiful SDX Drop

In addition to the two kits we voted on, there will be some free content arriving in the game in the coming months as well. A “beautiful” SDX drop is promised, with fashion-themed icons surrounding it in the Sims 4 roadmap. That’s a pretty broad clue but we hope we’re getting some new beauty-related items in The Sims 4 for free.

One Sparkling Stuff Pack

The Sims 4 roadmap theme is a jewellery box with a “sparkling” new stuff pack promised. Honestly, the stuff pack could be anything and we’d just be so happy to have our beloved stuff packs back. This stuff pack will most likely have a focus on jewellery for the CAS items but since stuff packs also come with gameplay and Build items, there’s no telling really how that will be incorporated into the theme.

The Sims Team did an incredible job with the last stuff pack, Home Chef Hustle, so we’ll keep our hopes high for this one, too, whatever it is.

One Celebratory Build Kit

And, yep, MORE kits which is probably great news to some and tiresome news to others. Either way, get ready for a lot of kits this season. One of the promised kits has a celebration theme to it and, of course, we can’t speculate too much this early but we hope to see some better party décor.

One Co-Created Style Kit

As if three kits weren’t enough, get ready for a fourth kit this season! This kit promises to be a CAS kit that was “co-created.” We have no idea whether this co-creator is a fashion designer or a prominent Sims content creator in the community. The Sims has collaborated with both in the past.
