Electronic Arts has released a new Sims 4 Patch across platforms!
Maxis and EA have just released a brand new The Sims 4 Update across PC, Mac, Xbox and Playstation supported platforms. The latest Patch doesn’t include anything new as announced last week. This Sims 4 Update is expected to fix several bugs and issues, including overlapping Festival items and missing Clutter Objects from Build Mode.

Installing the Latest Sims 4 Update
You can get the latest The Sims 4 Update on the following official launchers and platforms:
- PC: EA App, Origin, Steam, Epic Games
- Mac: Origin, Steam
- Playstation: PS4 and PS5
- Xbox: Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S
You can download the latest Sims 4 Update by checking for a Patch through the EA App, Steam or Epic Games launcher for Desktop. If you have Automatic Updates enabled the update will automatically download through your client program. In case your EA App is not working properly ensure you’ve cleared your app cache!
If you play The Sims 4 on Xbox Series X / S and Playstation 4 and 5 you can request a new update by checking for updates under The Sims 4 game in the Main Menu. If you’ve enabled automatic updates the Patch should download right away.
Unlike previous Sims 4 Feature Updates, this one is not expected to automatically disable Mods / CC considering it’s a hotfix without any new features. On the other hand, the new Sims 4 Update set to release next week will probably disable all your Mods / CC.

Bug Fixes & Updates
Base Game:
- [EA Forums] Addressed multiple cases where festival objects from different events (Romance, Flea Market, Spice, and Humor and Hijinks) overlapped on lots in San Myshuno. Additionally, rogue objects such as coffee cups, plates, flowers, cupcakes, crates, and boxes will no longer appear randomly floating or scattered around the city.
- Fixed an issue where the full-body outfit (ymBody_SP60RobeBoxers) was wearable for female Sims.
- [AHQ] Casanova Cave Top (ymTop_SP60Vest) now tucks in properly.
- We missed these in the last patch notes!
- Hovertips will show up a bit quicker when moving your mouse around the HUD.
- Lessons Improvements: fixed side bar indentation and linking issues.
- You can now update traits and aspirations after finishing Create a Sim Stories.
- A couple of travel improvements! You can click on your Sim to travel, and the interaction has been moved up in your phone.
- Grim has a new ghastly look! His tattered robe has additional detail, exposing his skeletal ribcage, and he has skeleton fingers to match.
Base Game & Affecting Multiple Packs:
- [EA Forums] Clutter items that were not showing up under the clutter tag in Build Mode have been fixed. Let there be clutter!

so the “we missed these in the last patch notes!” items were implemented in the last game update? I’m happy it’s easier to travel, i played last night but i can’t remember if the Travel interaction through the phone was on the top of the list. Click on a sim to travel is going to be so nice.
Uhhh they not fix the issue when sims cant dance at dance floor
Has anyone else had an issue after the last update with milestones? Hoping when I go on to the game after this update I dont have the issue anymore.
EA app won’t even open at the moment (& is apparently affecting a lot of us) – so no chance of updating anyway
EA app dosen’t even open, sounds like a problem for most of us right now!
Hi what about the bug where the sims won’t do as you say? They just stay still and don’t move, sometimes I even have to close and reopen the game for them to properly function. Thank you
shift + right click on your sim and debug!!
im tired of ea , the update didn’t fix all the objects , i use the room by simsontherope and some of the objects are still not in the catalog … im not going to buy any pack or kit if random objects can be gone randomly after updates ….
please please log this and report that these issues are still going on after the recent update!!! make sure to bring this to their attention so we don’t let them get complacent!!!
the worst thing is that I discovered other missing objects which are in the pre-made rooms….so I’m sure there are probably some that we don’t know who have disappeared , and yes I tried to notify them but the help forum is under maintenance :/

When is the raining and snowing inside the homes going to be fixed?
Will adults continue to glitch into an infant sitting position still and continue receiving infant traits like, “constantly hiccuping.”
Cheats are now not working at all for me. I type them in but nothing shows up. They are also enabled
Woohoo still can’t be done in hot springs or hot tubs
My Gallery doesn’t open, if i change scenario, there’s just a white screen, i can’t even play, nothing happens if i press play in the scenario mode
Do you use Mods like MCCC, UI Cheats Extension, T.O.O.L., etc.?

My game keeps crashing after a few in game hrs after this update
Okay, but…. why was there an update with fixes but it still rains inside during a storm on my PS5? We can’t all afford computers to play the Sims with all it’s expansions to get mods to fix issues you aren’t paying attention to….
i’m having the hardest time opening my game since this update. i usually have no issues and now it won’t open or it takes FOREVER
And sims STILL can’t go fishing in Sulani
