As long as there are no loading screens between the different rooms in a building, it will be amazing!

Oh, my! Before “For Rent” I’d say “No way, of course there won’t be”. But you cannot be so sure anymore”

Yo estoy enojada.

I know, this is super weird. I was definitely expecting bands at the bare minimum. Ill never expect cars though. I think we’re getting robbers in a base game update at some point, I would be really upset if it was behind a pack when it was always base game. I hope we get more frequent base game add ons, the game is old as heck and really needs it.

So disappointed, they could have included lots of hobbies, lots of activities that we don’t have, and it’s just tattoos and pottery and that’s it.

The bar for expansion pack is alternatively rising and falling depending on which of their teams is developing the pack.

I know that but I think that after 11 years, we can’t be satisfied with that, for such a high price, they were able to do a good job on the previous extension, EA can’t go back to something botched, all the teams must be at the same level, we must stay at the level, where are the hobbies, there were so many possibilities, I can’t accept that

So is this just get to work but slightly better? Are we just going to have two expansions with the same exact theme but just change the skills a bit? Why not refresh that one?

Hello,

I am a long-time Brazilian player of The Sims 4, and I am writing this message to express my deep disappointment with the current state of the game.

Let’s talk about Business and Hobbies. What a complete disaster of an expansion pack! This is something that should have been released over ten years ago—or better yet, integrated into Get to Work! There is no justification for selling this as a full expansion. At best, it should have been a game pack. But no, EA continues to overprice low-effort content, completely ignoring what the community truly wants.

Where are the features we’ve been begging for for years? Ballet? Cars? Burglars? Fairies? A futuristic city? The things that made The Sims such a beloved and immersive franchise? Instead of delivering real innovation, you keep serving us overpriced, shallow content that barely scratches the surface of what this game should be.

It’s heartbreaking to see how much The Sims 4 has stagnated after nearly eleven years. This game should be a monumental evolution from its predecessors. Instead, it feels like a never-ending cycle of disappointment, where the community has to beg for features that should have been standard from the beginning. And when we finally get something, it feels rushed, hollow, and nowhere near worth the price.

It’s as if you’re creating content out of the goodness of your heart, as if we aren’t paying ridiculous amounts of money for these DLCs. The lack of respect for the fanbase is insulting. We are tired of being ignored. We are tired of being sold the bare minimum. And above all, we are tired of seeing a game that should have been revolutionary turn into a shallow, overpriced mess.

We deserve better.

Sincerely,
A disappointed The Sims 4 player

Get a grip. What whiners don’t realize is most players are in fact, HAPPY with the sims 4 and actually enjoy it. You misery is your own making.

There’s no issue with asking for even more when we know they can be capable of that.

Know that liking something doesn’t mean we should accept mediocrity without question.

“The majority of players” are happy? Based on what? Some study you conducted in your room or just in the bubble of those who accept everything without questioning? The fact that The Sims 4 still has fans doesn’t negate the massive amount of legitimate criticism about the state of the game.

Lmao. Sims 4 is more successful than sims 3 ever was. It’s sold more copies and its lasting 10+ years. As compared to the sims 3’s 6 year run. The miserable naysayers think they are in the majority because whining is LOUD. Meanwhile, sims 4 is a commercial widespread SUCCESS. And the miserables are in the minority.

Look, the moment you’re paying (especially for a game), you have the right to demand improvements and point out flaws. This isn’t about ‘controlling yourself’; it’s about not settling for less. Not everyone can afford to keep spending money on ridiculously repetitive expansions—especially when they could at least deliver what players have been asking for, which they are fully capable of doing. But instead, they release content purely to profit, making people pay absurd amounts for something incomplete. Calling it ‘crying’ sounds more like ‘refusing to be fooled’!”

You actually dont have a right to demand a thing. It’s a video game. Not healthcare. The dlc’s are all optional and should only be bought if you want that content. Nothing more, nothing less.

So by that logic, if a restaurant serves you spoiled food, you can’t complain because eating there is optional? If you pay, you have the right to demand quality. Simple as that.kkkkkk

This is a fan site, no one here is affiliated with EA and we don’t know how to contact them anymore than you do. There’s no point in posting your message in more than one comment section.

Yes, and there are still people who try to defend their negligence. Before, I even had reasons to defend the packages, but now, I have no reason to defend them.
