Aight, good job with this one. Love the buttoned fem blazer and the first dress especially, and masc cas also looks pretty wearable… Though some pieces look a Lot like older ones.
love the african clothes. the rest reminds me a bit of the explorer and “french” outfits that came with Sims 3 World Adventures (and i mean that in a good way).
I like the overall look and the selection (as in some clearly modern, English royals-inspired, some historic/fantasy), and the African representation finally. The jewellery looks stunning, and I love the gloves with puffy sleeves. But I’m not the biggest fan of sexifying the historic dresses, like that leg slit in the regency dress or that puffy green gown ending just around the knees. Makes them less useful in a historic setting, but not matching the modern playthrough either.
Are they historic, though? Was it not supposed to be modern monarchy with some bridgerton-ness from the beginning? I just read the gowns as, well… Formal. Bit camp, but it works for modern playthrough. I may be missing something, that’s just my take on it.
The whole pack is a mix of modern and fantasy monarchy. Even in CAS one of the dresses is literally combined with armour. And of course there are fantasy elements like frog princes, magic mirrors and crystal slippers
Yeah I remember fantasy being mentioned, I think I mixed those aesthetics with bridgerton (which I’ve never read or watched). Still, not quite historical, so it still works, I think.
The West African CAS is FIRE. some of the CAS that’s like European is good too but def some clunky items in there. Could just be some bad styling choices though with them trying to show as much as possible in a trailer.
The non-african inspired Men’s clothing could be bit more regal/better/more. But I know in general they usually don’t give men very great CAS assets. The rest looks absolutely amazing though.
Definitely ready for a New World.Sims4 Fan For Life
I’d take the cas and build/buy objects on their own but I don’t need another play system to clog up my game even more!
Can we please get new children and toddler hair!?
