The Sims 4 Developers are back to work and are already teasing 2017. Although we’re still waiting for the upcoming quarterly teaser for The Sims 4, SimGurus expressed their excitement over mysterious content that’ll be coming our way in 2017. Check out some of their tweets down below!

I’m desperate for the Teaser xD and all that stress of waiting don’t let me play xD (If the Vampires don’t show up this teaser my mood will be destroy ’till next trimester xD)

same except the cars. Cars worked in 3 because it was an open world. No point in having them when every time you go somewhere you get a load screen.

Because the wait is so intense for me, whether I have my hopes up or not, but every time I know there’s a pack coming out, I won’t play my sims game until it comes out… This is driving me nuts!! LOL
I will play my game for about a week when it first comes out and then I quit and wait for the next pack. It’s not driving me nuts. I just think the game is boring. I have a town but I run out of things to do so quickly.
Same here… I played with City Life for about 3 weeks and got bored of it. Especially when it became super buggy. Then the groups became messed up with the patch. It was a mess!
Exactly!!! In my opinion, if they had expansions like the TS3, it wouldn’t be so boring :/ I love the supernatural, pets, and the university packs… I wish they’d add that in already. Maybe I wouldn’t get so bored!?
Do we get Toddler for this year? Hope for it 🙂
What I really want to see is The Sims 5!!!! I think it is about time they started listening to what the players want and make the best version of Sims they they can…………Open World, Patterns, Pets, Apartments, Seasons, all age groups, new and improved version of Island Paradise, Split levels and great graphics! Combine the best of Sims 2, 3 and 4! Simply put…………START LISTENING TO WHAT THE PLAYERS WANT!!!!!
The only problem with that is it would require a decent computer and that would eliminate a lot of their fanbase. Not everyone understands how computer specs work and why games have minimum system requirements. If The Sims team added everything listed above and more the system requirements would be very high and players would complain that the dev team made a game only “rich” people can play.
I agree, Ian. AS much as I’d love to see open world in TS4, I imagine the reason we DON’T have it is it’ll kill all of our computers. I have a top of the line Mac Pro and yet, TS3 still runs sluggishly (though I’ve heard that is due to the fact that it’s a cider port and can’t use anywhere even remotely close to half of the 64gb of memory the machine has).
Can I hope to see toddlers or is that just a lost cause at this point?
I hope we get pets , toddlers and pre-teens, cars, seasons, super-naturals, a celebrity themed pack , and just family themed gameplay/ basic gameplay in house that we do in real life.
Remember, these are the same people who went nuts over a talking toilet…. don’t get too excited.
So they’re going to FINALLY cancel this disappointing mess of a game (TS4) and start producing TS5. One can only dream…

Can’t say whether the dreaded ‘T’ word will be part to the incoming new content, but I personally have enjoyed all of the released content so far (yes, now you know the sort of people who worked on this game- the kind that are like me… And yes, I was a little excited about the talking toilet also… *smiles shamefully… but proudly!*)
I think we will be getting Two of both. That is what happened in 2015. Hopefully they have their dev team somewhat solid now and can work better on content.
you know how fast and progressive the development of sims 3 was? within 2ish years there were like 5 expansion packs and one of those 5 were Pets! within 2 YEARS! Pets came very early for S3 but where is it in Sims 4? The SimGurus do listen to our suggestions but they just focus on useless stuff packs which is why most of us are annoyed
I loved cars in Sims 2 and it also had loading screens.
Content i’d like to see (aside from seasons and toddlers): farm life EP with the ability to breed farm animals and a usuable truck (like the one in the TS3 store). I would also love to multiple vacation gamepacks. I’m not even opposed to a TS3-adventure-like EP (loved that one in TS3). Other than these i would like new content that has never been done before and new careers…
What do you think ?
You guys also have to understand how much work has to be put into the sims 4 to make it the way it is. They aren’t going to give us toddlers or pets or the sims 5 in one month!! Just relax and game and wait and give them some time. They are listening to us but they need time. How do we not know they already started in toddlers?? So relax people
Sims 4 is total mess and is missing good stuff and i have got bored of this game and i have gave up hope so i don’t care about this game anymore. i want Sims 5 now
Please, please, please bring back toddlers to TS4! I would absolutely LOVE university, seasons, and supernatural expansion packs. I keep wanting to go back and play TS2 and TS3 for those things alone. They make the gaming experience so much better!!
I hope terrain tools, boats (Holiday pack) and cars and obviously… PETS !
