The Community speculates on The Sims 4 Game Pack 7’s Theme

We’re only a few hours away until the official reveal of The Sims 4’s 7th Game Pack!

Over the last day the official Sims channel and SimGurus only hinted about what the next Game Pack could be about. So far we’ve seen a brand new desert-themed world, creepy-looking Sims with huge eyes and big smiles, Sims in military uniforms and more hidden details. However, there hasn’t been anything specified about what the theme of this pack is all about.

The community was quick to speculate over the general theme of this pack and they definitely have a few interesting theories. Check out what they have to say:

The return of the Strangetown Neighborhood from The Sims 2 seems to be a winning speculation so far. However, time will tell what the true theme of this pack is all about. Stay tuned on our website to be the first to know when the pack gets revealed!

It might be a rather small addition for The Sims 4 players but it’s definitely the one that many requested for a long period of time.

Laptops. They’re finally coming to The Sims 4! Are they going to be exclusive to the upcoming Game Pack? We don’t know yet considering that the image down below has been shared along with other tweets and images from other SimGurus promoting the Game Pack 7.

It could be a case where laptops arrive to The Sims 4 with a free game update or it could be something exclusive to the Game Pack. Hopefully SimGurus clarify more information after tomorrow’s big reveal!

The Sims 4’s next Game Pack is definitely coming with a New World

Over the last few hours SimGurus managed to share over 30 new images of weird-looking Sims from The Sims 4’s upcoming 7th Game Pack.

Although we don’t know many details about this Game Pack other than that there’s an option for our Sims and their limbs to get distorted, we also got a small sneak peek at the upcoming world that’s coming with the latest pack.

We don’t know much about the world other than that it’s probably desert-themed with cracks on the road, red rocks and a few ruins. There’s even a screenshot that you can check below that features a Sim standing behind an airplane crash site!

The Sims Social Media team has just started teasing about the upcoming piece of content for The Sims 4!

In this strange .gif that you can see down below, there are, what seems to be, a bunch of possesed Sims in military uniforms.

Now, you might be wondering – how do we know that this is the next Game Pack for The Sims 4?

Well, it turns out that The Sims Russia’s official VK page has left a rather interesting hint. In the url that you can see down below there’s a short line that mentions “TS4_GP7” which can easily translate to Game Pack 7.

The Sims 4: SimGuruKate teases a New Announcement for Today

SimGuruKate has posted a very cryptic tweet on her profile, giving information that we can assume is tied to a new announcement.

She posted an eye emoji with nothing but a date – 11AM PST (which can convert to 7PM BT and 8PM CET) and tagged the official Sims Twitter Profile.

Considering that The Sims Team likes to do official announcements for new content / packs during Tuesdays / Wednesdays, it could mean that they’ll be announcing either a new pack or something entirely else related for The Sims 4.

The Sims 4’s New Tutorial is now a Smooth and Steady Experience

Back in November 2018 The Sims Team has added a new way to introduce new players to the world of The Sims 4. The November Update added in a new tutorial complete with a special voice over, special user interface overlays and moderately scripted gameplay that lets you both play by the rules and play by yourself for a few sim hours.

However, it wasn’t all that smooth in the beginning. The first few weeks after the update were rocky considering that I only managed to play through the half of the tutorial, with the rest being glitched out and not allowing me to continue. There were a few scenarios where the game simply wouldn’t unlock the next step of the tutorial that would allow me to progress. Thankfully, all of that has been fixed after the last few patches and I managed to do a playthrough in one take.

There were a few dull moments during the tutorial such as having to wait for my Sim to finish her workshift and also waiting for her to finish sleeping. However, there was Alex, a special Sim added to the Household specifically for tutorial purposes that lets you explore around the home while your original Sim is away for work.

There are a few things that you simply have to do in order to progress in the tutorial such as having to clean up your home, prepare a meal, go to sleep and so on but those are basic interactions that only take a few moments to complete. During the rest of the tutorial you’ll be followed by a sweet and calm voice giving you more insight about all the possibilities in The Sims 4.

Old players of The Sims 4 who are already met with all the mechanisms and options available in the game won’t really enjoy this tutorial. However if you are someone who just bought The Sims 4 and is eager to play – you’ll enjoy this smooth and steady tutorial experience.

The Sims 4: The Official Newbie Family Now Available on The Gallery

Remember Bob and Betty Newbie originally from The Sims 1? They’re known for being the first Sims that you play after choosing to play The Sims 1 Tutorial, hence the last name “Newbie”.

The Sims Team has decided to recreate this family in The Sims 4 in celebration of The Sims’ 19th Anniversary. Unlike the original version of The Newbie Family, this one has an extra addition – Buddy Newbie – a cute Dalmatian that you’ll be able to play with if you own The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack.

There are several items that Bob and Betty are rocking from various Expansion, Game and Stuff Packs that you can check out in the image below.

SimGuruKate has issued a statement on Twitter saying that they have plans over the coming weeks (and months) to regularly add new official households to The Gallery – mostly the remakes from the previous games. Expect more news posts about the official remakes as new households surface!

Over the coming weeks and months we will regularly be uploading new official Maxis Sims to the Gallery, including some remakes of old favorites. This week it’s the Newbies from TS1!

One thing that can always seem like a battle with The Sims 4 Get Famous is how you go about earning reputation. There are many interactions that can positively or negatively have an impact on your Sims reputation as a whole. Your Sim may be aiming to be a Global Superstar but there may well be some Sims who want to go down the road of obtaining an atrocious reputation instead. Whichever direction that you Sims may be heading in below you will find some helpful information of which interactions will help you gain the reputation title that you need.
