NEW CONTENT COMING! Free Update for The Sims 4 in October; New Paid Content This Year

7

SimGuruKate has just released a statement on Twitter saying that The Sims Team won’t be having any patches / updates coming in September 2018.  However, she made a very interesting statement where she pointed out two things:

First of all, she confirmed that there’s going to be a new content update coming in October. Although she hasn’t said what it is she did tease that it’s going to be “Fun Free Stuff”.

Second, she included a statement that there’s going to be some other new content coming this year. SimGuruKate didn’t mention what it is but we can assume that it’s going to be a new Expansion, Game or a Stuff Pack.

We can tease and speculate what this is all about but one thing’s for certain: there’s going to be a whole free new content update for The Sims 4 in just a few more weeks and new paid content this year!

Simmers, start your engines, and may the best speculation about the upcoming content win!

The Sims 4 Spooky Stuff Coming October 2nd on Xbox One and PS4

The Sims Team has just officially announced that The Sims 4 Spooky Stuff Pack is coming to Xbox One and PS4 on October 2nd, 2018.

This Stuff Pack will be the price of all other Stuff Packs which is 9.99 USD.

The Sims 4 Spooky Stuff Teased for Console

The Sims Team has just published a teaser tweet with a .gif of The Sims 4 Spooky Stuff Pack with Halloween-themed emojis and a console controller with the word “Soon.”

Considering that both The Sims 4 Spooky Stuff Pack and The Sims 4 Seasons Expansion Pack have been added as pack filters with the latest Console update it seems like this teaser is going to be related to the announcement of Spooky Stuff coming to consoles.

Of course, we’ll post more information about this as it becomes available.

Multiple Worlds for The Sims 4 are “in progress”

23

SimGuruGrant has started another Q&A session today on twitter answering questions about The Sims, its development and usually stating that he can’t talk about future content.

Grant answered a question asking what are some of his favorite worlds in The Sims 4 so far. He answered with Windenburg, San Myshuno and “some of the ones in progress”.

This isn’t really a groundbreaking news article considering that The Sims Team has already confirmed that they plan to deliver new content for The Sims 4 for at least the next 3 years. We’ll just have to wait and see which packs and worlds they’ll have to offer during that period…

The Sims 4 Get Together is Now Available on Console!

The Sims 4 Get Together Expansion Pack is now finally available for purchase for Xbox One and PS4 consoles!

You can get this pack by purchasing it from the Microsoft and Sony Playstation stores.

Maxis has started working on a new The Sims title

39

UPDATE: EA Careers has published 2 new listings just a few days ago which proves even more that Maxis has started working on a brand new Sims title! Here are the listings:

  • Senior Concept Artist (Character)
  • Senior Concept Artist (Environment)

Senior Concept Artist (Character)

This listing reveals that EA is looking for a concept artist who specializes in character modeling to join a veteran team of developers who are currently working on a triple A title that’s currently very early-in-development.

The listing talks about creating entirely new characters, their skins, clothing, eyes and doing hair shading studies. It also mentions creating concepts of different characters, their poses and fashion designs.

Here’s all the important information that’s been mentioned in the listing:

The experience you’ll bring:

  • A passion for creating new and ground-breaking experiences

Senior Concept Artist (Environment)

This listing mentions similar things to the previous listing such as creating a whole new triple A experience for Maxis as well as help bringing an initial vision of a game that’s early in development. This listing is also really important as it talks about creating a whole new vision in the game and creating new environments from scratch. Here’s all the important things mentioned in this listing:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Concept Artist to join a veteran team of developers working on an early-in-development AAA title at Maxis in our Redwood City location. This is an opportunity to help craft the initial vision for a new, innovative and immersive Maxis experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work closely with the Art Director, Production and Creative Director to create a vision for the game as we develop its initial look
  • Create a wide variety of concepts including vistas, structures, organic and hard surface props and vehicles
  • Design original concepts that fit within the project’s art style
  • Translate high level ideas into production-ready art materials
  • Maintain a high level of quality art while providing a wide variety of ideas
  • Provide in-depth research, reference material, and develop conceptual ideas
  • Create lighting schemes and color palettes that capture the tone of the world
  • Create environment mood paintings, lighting studies, color keys and scripts
  • Create concept model proxies as well as produce work of ranging styles and detail levels

The day has finally come where we get to speculate about a new Sims title!

Electronic Arts regularly updates their EA Careers website with all the latest job offers that they have and talent that they’re looking for. A few weeks ago the website got updated with loads of new positions. Some of these job positions are very interesting and contain information that very much hint at the development of the new Sims title. Here’s all the positions listed on the website which contain this sort of information:

  • Executive Producer / Game GM
  • Gameplay Software Engineer
  • Software Engineer (Temporary)
  • Character Modeler

Why are these roles so important? Let’s break down each one and see why they’re hinting towards the production of a new Sims title:

Executive Producer

In case you don’t know The Sims 4 already has its own Executive Producer (SimGuruLyndsay) therefore this makes this listing a lot more interesting. The details that have been mentioned in this job listing confirm the fact that Maxis is looking for a person who can lead their new project. Here are all the interesting facts from this listing:

The Executive Producer will be both the creative ambassador, and the person who builds and motivates the team, while partnering within all of Studio leadership to accomplish the goal of shipping a high quality, hugely entertaining title on time and on budget.

  • Develop the creative center of the game and build a fully playable/shippable level demonstrating the key attributes of the game (game play, technology, linkages to outside media)
  • Expand the playable/shippable level to produce a full AAA title
  • Grow the game into a successful franchise capable of multiple versions
  • Work with key reports (Senior Producer, Development Director, Art Director, Audio Director, Creative Director and Producers) to create an organizational structure and processes that allow the team to efficiently produce high quality work on time and on budget
  • Passionately articulate goals and team principles to help form a stimulating and fun work environment.
  • Be able to represent and manage the game as a successful business within the Maxis portfolio against the competitive landscape externally to EA.
  • Articulate and serve the games target audience.
  • Ensure the product is positioned appropriately with EAs overall strategy.
  • Champion the professional development of your people and ensure that EA continues to attract and retain the very best talent.
  • Work with Studio Finance to prepare accurate and reasonable project budgets and develop the game within that budget.
  • Sell the value of your game across EA and our industry, including interviews & meetings with the press, partner companies, EA executives, etc.

Check out the full listing here!

Gameplay Software Engineer (Both Roles)

This listing takes things to a whole new level and proves that EA is looking for someone who can “architect, implement, and maintain user-facing content for The Sims”.

There are several examples and responsibilities provided in this listing.

As a Software Engineer on The Sims, your job will be to architect, implement, and maintain user-facing content for the Sims using Python and C++.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implementing gameplay systems written in Python and C++ that are data driven.:
    • Sim behaviors: interaction with the world, other Sims, and objects (how would a Flirty Sim behave differently in a pool club versus a bar).
    • Ability to build creative real life archetypes within a simulation game (e.g. romance, careers, postures).
    • Runtime optimization for performance and memory usage (scaling a simulation engine to include all aspects of human life).
  • Work with the team on continuous improvement of the data driven framework that brings designs to life.
  • Write software requirement and technical design documentation.
  • Work with franchise leaders to continue building unique content for a game that delivers to a large demographic of simulation player patterns.

Check out the full listing here & here!

Why is this listing so interesting? Well, for starters, they’ve mentioned different Sim behaviours and situations, as well as interactions with other Sims and objects. Why would Maxis be on a lookout for someone to implement a gameplay system for situations that are already present in The Sims 4 unless they’re working on something…entirely new.

The listing also mentions creating real life archetypes and types of people inside a simulation game. In case you don’t know, the early days of The Sims 4 was also a massive portrayal of the new system, game engine and the game concept through different personas and archetypes. Just check out some of the concept arts that have been made during the very early days of The Sims 4:

Character Modeler

This job listing is the most interesting one as it confirms several things and that’s the fact that Maxis is working on “an exciting new game in The Sims Franchise” and that this game’s team is small at the moment but is growing rapidly. Both The Sims 4 and The Sims Mobile teams have a lot of people working on the game behind the scenes which only means that there’s a third new Sims project currently in development.

The listing mentions this:

Maxis is looking for an Character Modeler for an exciting new game in the best-selling Sims franchise. Do you have excellent modeling and texturing abilities for games? Do you have a passion for creating real-world fashion in a 3D game? Are you able to take direction but work independently when needed to make the best games you possibly can?

If so, then we may have a job for you. We’re a small team now and are growing rapidly.  Apply today and join us!

Responsibilities

  • Create, model, UV, and texture fashion assets such as t-shirts, jeans, jackets, shoes, etc. in a realistic style to a high level of aesthetic quality.
  • Participate in meetings with producers, designers, engineers and animators to understand the functional requirements and constraints of characters and how they need to be created.
  • Participate in reviews with the Art Director to improve aesthetic consistency and overall look.
  • Should be knowledgeable and comfortable in the creation and use of normal maps, specular maps, and generating AO maps.
  • Trouble shoot and problem solve assets that are not functioning properly in game. Coordinate with animators and engineers to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Provide project management team with accurate estimates for scheduling work and deadlines
  • Be able to come up with concepts and provide basic concept art for some fashion in conjunction with the Art Director.

You can check out this job listing here!

Huge thanks to @PattonPlays2017 for this job listing find!

Things that we bolded above mention an interesting fact which never has been mentioned before in any listing for The Sims 4, and that’s the fact that Maxis is looking for “a realistic style to a high level of aesthetic quality”. This time around Maxis is shooting for realism for the next Sims title with unique, high quality aesthetics.

Usually with The Sims 4 job listings you would see a responsibility asking you to accomodate to a unique art style that’s already present. But this, this is something entirely different.

So, what is the next The Sims title about? It’s too early to tell. As mentioned in the last listing the team for this new The Sims project is still small (although rapidly expanding) and it could take some time before this project sees the light of day.

The Sims 3 started with production in 2005 and got announced in 2008, while The Sims 4 started with production in 2008 and got announced in 2013. This doesn’t mean that this Sims project is a sequel (and it also doesn’t mean that it isn’t) but it could definitely take a while until this new Sims game gets developed, published and released to the world.

Until that happens, The Sims 4 is still going strong with over 3 years planned with exciting new content.

The Sims 4: Early Concept Art of “Snoot Heights”

4

Whit Brachna, one of the concept artists who worked for Electronic Arts and The Sims 4 in its early days has published a concept art piece titled “Snoot Heights”.

This world with entirely new surroundings never-before seen in The Sims 4 such as the ice cream truck, a lawn mower, different terrain levels and more that you can see below:

The Sims 4: Early Concept Art of “Snoot Heights”

Considering that this Concept Art contains a Sim at the entrance of the main home that’s been used for the very early days of concept art exploration it means that this concept art piece comes from the first stages of The Sims 4 development and exploration.

German YouTuber claims he knows what the next pack for The Sims 4 is

5

Please note that this post is pure speculation until proven otherwise!

German YouTuber Gronkh who’s getting close to 5 million subscribers has claimed in his Sims 4 Let’s Play video that’s been published last week that he already knows what the next pack for The Sims 4 and that he’s really excited for it. According to his statement the next pack is “very fitting for his Let’s Play”. Unfortunately he didn’t reveal the exact theme of this pack.

Here’s all he said in his video. Big thanks to @BroBastii for the transcript!

He is talking about cooking (ingame) and then he just stops talking. After that he giggles a little bit and says that he already knows what the next DLC is going to be about, but he’s not allowed to share any information about it. Although he already knows about it he isn’t sure if the pack is already announced (I think that’s caused by recording his Let’s Plays in advance). The next DLC is very fitting for his Let’s Play and he is really looking forward to it. The last thing he said was that he will be recording the new gameplay in a Livestream as soon as it is released (like he did at the beginning of this Let’s Play, which was started with the release of Seasons). At the end of his statement there is just a lot of laughter.

@BroBastii also revealed to us what his Let’s Play is about considering that this Youtuber mentioned that the next pack would be very fitting for his Let’s Play:

He’s playing a group of friends (all Let’s Players in real life) in San Myshuno… maybe that’s important to know for your post!

By laughing between the sentences it seems like that the next pack is going to be kind of funny or makes a lot of fun playing, which would be fitting for a group of friends?! And maybe he’s talking about an Expansion Pack, since he compared it (kind of) to Seasons by mentioning the livestream.. Just some late night thoughts

Statement at 2:20

The Sims Forums have started speculating about this statement, asking if this YouTuber is trustworthy enough to believe the fact that the next Sims 4 Pack is so close that big YouTubers are already receiving tips and hints about it.

Yoko2112, a member of The Sims Forums who regularly watches Gronkh’s content has stated that he has relations with plenty of companies and events and that it’s very possible that he got information about the next pack behind the scenes.

German YouTuber claims he knows what the next pack for The Sims 4 is

In case you don’t know Gronkh has already attended some of The Sims 4 events in the past, including The Sims 4 Creator’s Camp in San Francisco.

For now Gronkh’s tease doesn’t reveal almost anything but it could be a sign that the news drought is about to come to an end…

The Sims 4 Twitter Q&A with Senior Producer SimGuruGrant

3

SimGuruGrant, a senior producer currently working on The Sims 4 has asked folks to ask away any questions they might have about The Sims 4. We’ve compiled all of the tweets which have been answered over the last week.

Please note that you should expect plenty of vague answers considering that SimGurus are unable to answer questions about upcoming content that hasn’t been announced yet. Still, there’s plenty of useful information about the development process as well as feedback.

The Sims Team is thinking about adding disabilities to The Sims 4

87

It’s been known ever since the first Sims game that The Sims has always tried to be inclusive and try to tell as many diverse stories as possible. The Sims 4 has been the most progressive in terms of representation. However, it seems that The Sims Team won’t just stop improving upon Sims after their CAS Gender Customization Update.

Many simmers have been wondering if making Sims with certain disabilities would ever become a reality. Turns out The Sims Team is extremely interested in improving in this field and would love to represent actual challenges and obstacles that certain people in the real world put up with daily. This is a very sensitive topic considering that the entire Sims 4 universe has been portrayed by rather perfect Sims who are only challenged by specific traits, emotions and situations around them.

SimGuruGrant, one of the producers on The Sims 4 has shown interest over the last few months regarding how they can include more differently abled people to the world of The Sims 4.

However, after the feedback he’s gotten and the tweets he’s posted about him wanting to add this feature now he’s confirmed that things have gone to a whole different level. After being asked if he’d like to see disabilities added to The Sims 4 he answered saying that The Sims Team is actively thinking about this feature.

It’s great to see that The Sims Team has taken something like this seriously with a big desire to implement it to The Sims 4. With the promise that The Sims 4 will serve new content for at least the next 3 years there’s plenty of time for this feature to be thought out, designed and polished. However, only time will tell…

The Sims 4: A Modder is trying to “Unlock” Ocean Swimming

14

Modder Nyx_Simmer has started working on a very special mod for The Sims 4 that could be a lot of work. However, he’s already made some huge progress.

Ocean swimming is a highly requested feature for The Sims 4 that many simmers want to see in the game. Still, there are some limitations that the game currently sets such as the lack of terrain which would bring another limitation and that’s animation and object / effects adjustment to different terrain levels.

We still don’t fully know if ocean / lake / pond swimming is ever going to make its way to The Sims 4 but at least we have a modder who could make that wait much easier.

Nyx_Simmer is currently developing a mod that would simply “unlock” access to oceans, lakes and ponds that are currently available in The Sims 4.

He’s currently doing various tests to see how this mod would function in different settings and worlds:

Currently the modder still has to do a lot of work to get this mod out as there’s a lot of factors that depend on making this mod fully functional. Entering the waters would require proper animations and effects and there are still a lot of lakes and oceans that need to be analyzed in order to make this mod functional in every area. Still, it seems that the modder has no plans to give up on it as of now.

The Sims 4 Console: New Update + Patch Notes! (September 6th, 2018)

The Sims 4 Console: New Update + Patch Notes! (September 6th, 2018)

The Sims Team has released a brand new Update for The Sims 4 for Console devices – Xbox One and PS4!

Patch Notes

Update: 09/06/2018 – v1.10

Hello Simmers!

Wow, what a summer we have had in The Sims 4 with the release of two fan favorite packs, Cats & Dogs and Laundry Day and great feedback for the Community creations in My Library. We are keeping that sunshine-boosted momentum going with this new update.

Talking of sunshine, we cast an eye to the Caribbean and its vibrant, colorful clothing and styles. With Carnival taking place throughout the region, we took inspiration from the traditional patterns to craft some hip, modern clothing for your Sims to wear to a party, or perhaps the last picnic of the summer.

This new update adds several often requested and cool new features, some of which are exclusive to console, so let’s jump in to what’s new.

What’s New?

  • Hark, what light through yonder window breaks! Or rather a sky light rather than a window. That’s right, Simmers can now add glass roofs to their builds.
  • Horticultural Sims can get their thumbs extra green thanks to the overhauled Gardening Skill. Rather than rewrite it, here is the perfect explanation from SimGuruGrant.
    • We synchronized plants to need water, etc. at the same time of day.
    • Seed Packets can be opened if placed on the ground.
    • There is a gardening sort in outdoor activities in Build to make it easy to find all the gardening equipment.
    • You can also buy seed packets in build now!
    • Gardening Evolution has been streamlined to 5 levels with better UI, plus we made the interaction immediate.
    • Uncommon and Rare Seed packets can be purchased once you’re at higher levels of the gardening skill. This means you can just buy them instead of hunting them down in the world.
    • You can research plants (new interaction) to gain info for your notebook.
    • Research tells you things like the right growing season, sell price, and more.
    • You can now sell Harvestables directly from the plant.
    • Most interactions now have an “area of effect” option at higher levels so you can garden more quickly and efficiently.
  • While SAVE GAME 1 is an inspired name for your first save, it doesn’t really portray what the save is. That is why you can now give your Save Game files their own name. When saving for the first time, simply hit Save and put in the name you want, and you are all set.
  • Don’t worry – if you already have SAVE GAME 1 or even made a typo when saving your new named saves, you can also RENAME your save files. To do this, open the Save Game or Load Game Menu and hit Square button (PS4) / X button (Xbox One).
  • Did you have bigger problems than just the name of your Save? Want to free up a Save Slot? With a new feature we like to call “DELETE” you can delete a Save Game rather than overwrite it. Simply highlight your Save Game in the Load or Save menu and press Triangle button (PS4) / Y button (Xbox One).
  • My Library is a place of wonder. One of the things we often wondered is “Why do you need to open a Household, Lot, Room before you can delete it?” We didn’t have a good answer for that so now you can just highlight the creation and press Triangle button (PS4) / Y button (Xbox One) to delete the item without having to open it first.
  • Thanks to your feedback and ongoing suggestions, we added more Community Creations. Thanks to all the Simmers for the suggestions and extra special thanks to the creators.
  • If you used a Household from My Library in CAS then proceeded into the World without making any changes, you’d find that My Library would have a whole load of clones. Now, if your Sim doesn’t change from the one you selected from My Library, we don’t waste your space by creating duplicates.
  • There are new clothing categories in CAS for Cold Weather and Hot Weather outfits. The extra options provide more wardrobe and storytelling options.
  • There is a whole new Swimwear category for toddlers.
  • What else can we say about CAS? I guess we could say that there are new lipsticks, eyeshadows, eyeliners. Everything you need for that new look.
  • Caribbean content that includes three new hairs, two of which have beautiful curls & textures! There are also numerous new clothing assets, some makeup, and even a little furniture. We should mention that it includes a ceiling fan and sliding door…
  • If you go to the Rewards Store and look in the Aspirations panel, you’ll see you can spend satisfaction points to re-roll your traits with the re-training potion.

General Issues

  • Wallpapering a large room shouldn’t be any more challenging than it already is. I mean, who has time to line up the patterns just right? We got rid of that annoying performance drop when you got all decorative.
  • Things can and do go wrong in The Sims, so much so that we even have a Game Over screen. When you reach that screen, you might have been unlucky enough to realize that your latest Save Game recorded the fact that all your Sims were gone. Now, you get a choice of where you want to save your game, if you even want to.
  • A wise person once said… I need trepanation like a hole in the World. Well, OK they didn’t say that but if they played The Sims 4 and had used Undo on a room placement while placing a tile floor then they might have.
  • Using Manage Households to add families should be straight forward rather than being as smooth as a holiday meal with your extended family.
  • While you might not own a house, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to admire a beautifully built home with all its textures.
  • Starting a new life in a new lot with a new household is sure to bring neighbors over with pie and intrigue. That Welcome Wagon shouldn’t go hiding your controls though, just keep an eye on that one neighbor eyeing up your silverware.
  • Placing floors while using Place Room Mode shouldn’t cause performance issues anymore, floor fitters have gotten more efficient.
  • In Build Mode you’d expect the Search option to find what you needed and it kind of did, if you only searched for one word. It wasn’t so good if you added a multiple word search like “Unicorn Dreamshower,” Now everyone can search for and add a “Unicorn Dreamshower” in their home? Hurrah!
  • While you are busy searching, you might also notice that we correctly show the Build menus where previously there was a big gap.
  • You know what is better than watching TV? Watching TV with a friend, unless they like to talk through every show.
  • We have a large amount of choice in CAS so it was a shame that you couldn’t see some color swatches on clothing items as the sheer number of options couldn’t fit on screen. A bit of a wardrobe re-organization and all clothing options are available to you.
  • Ever notice that when the Welcome Wagon visits, the visiting Sim hides their fruit cake to keep for themselves? Well now they’ll actually share it with you. Whether you take a piece is up to you though.

Get to Work

  • When you start a new Career, you generally want to read the whole job description which is why we add the ability to scroll on the careers panel. Now you can’t claim you didn’t know what you were getting into when accepting a job.
  • Talking of careers, some employers can be overly aggressive with their hiring techniques and would overlap categories. We asked them kindly to be nice and organize the careers tabs so everyone could get some screen time.
  • Restocking supplies is no longer free, Sims will actually pay for what they order. It does mean that the cheaper restocking perk gets you some nice discounts.
  • Hospitals can get busy, it doesn’t mean that doctors trying to put more than one Sim in a bed at a time is an acceptable solution. New hospital rule: One patient, one bed!
  • Aliens and Vampires don’t feel inclined to change the colors of their beards and eyebrows when going to work anymore.
  • Case Closed! The Police Chief didn’t do it and can’t be a suspect of a crime anymore.
  • The “Ask About Suspect” interaction is now available during an APB event in the detective career.

City Living

  • Sims that are resurrected after dying from eating poisonous Pufferfish Nigiri will no longer die after eating anything else. We carefully washed the dishes to clean off the poison properly this time.
  • Every restaurant wants a good review from food critics and it helps if they don’t have conflicting experiences while coming up with their reviews. We all agreed on a rating system they’ll all stick to from now on.

Cats & Dogs

  • We don’t usually condone painting your cats and dogs, but it doesn’t mean you should be limited when doing it in Create a Pet. The larger paint strokes used to cause problems for a number of Simmers, until now.
  • Cats that have been spayed won’t get pregnant anymore if they have the Free Spirit trait and leave the house for a secret rendezvous with the tom cat next door.
  • You would have thought that cats held a static charge with the way that toys stuck to them when they finished playing. Turns out that isn’t the case so toys will stay on the floor when not being played with.
  • Adopt, don’t buy. Eligible Sims can do just that with their cat or dog of choice.
  • We love to look at photos of cats and dogs as much as the next person but sometimes you have to eat. Being able to back out of Simstagram Pet lets your Sim go and do the things Sims do.
  • Veterinary Clinic staff will focus on treating your furry friends even if a TV or computer is on the lot. We had to set the employees’ screen time rules.

Dine Out

  • New recipes from Cats & Dogs will be available and work as expected in restaurants.

Perfect Patio Stuff

  • *Big fish, little fish, cardboard box* All radios can now tune in to the Electronica station.

Romantic Garden Stuff

  • If you close your eyes really tight and wish hard enough at the Wishing Well a summoned child will actually be added to the household.
  • The Wishing Well now gives you a soulmate which matches the gender of your Sim’s romantic preference.

Backyard Stuff

  • Why do birds suddenly appear, everytime a bird feeder is near? Birds will come back to your garden when a bird feeder is placed.

Vintage Glamour Stuff

  • Butlers need rest, plus no one gets to sleep if they do chores while you try to sleep. Sending the Butler to go and sleep while everyone else is asleep will allow the time to fly by.
  • After a long day you just want to clean off the makeup. A new interaction on the vanity table will allow your Sim take off the Vanity Makeup.

PlayStation 4

  • PlayStation 4 Pro Simmers should notice higher Sim texture quality levels while in Live mode thanks to the additional power.

Xbox One

  • Simmers on Xbox One X can now get more from the additional power of the console and should notice higher Sim texture quality levels while in Live mode.
  • The Sims 4 might not be a game about reflexes but it doesn’t mean we want to be stuck at 30fps, that is why we have lifted the frame rate cap on Xbox One X.
  • Switching profiles won’t confuse your online friends as much as they’ll be able to accurately see what part of The Sims 4 you are actually playing.

As you might expect, we looked to the PC and Mac versions of The Sims 4 and brought over some of their fixes and changes to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. With all these new features and changes, we bet you are more eager to go and try them out than read about them so we’ll sign off here, for now!

The Sims 4: The Gallery is back Online; Expect Less Downtimes

0

The Sims Team’s scheduled maintenance for The Sims 4 Gallery’s servers has finally been completed!

You’ve probably noticed in the last couple of weeks ever since The Gallery Overhaul Update that the servers would crash almost on a daily basis. The Sims Team is hoping that this maintenance will fix those issues and make The Gallery a stable experience once again.

The Sims 4: The Gallery is back Online; Expect Less Downtimes
