Everything new for The Sims that’s coming in the next 3 months
The Sims Team has released a new quarterly teaser for The Sims 4, showcasing content that will be released from October to December 2017. However, this quarterly teaser has only shown The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack, which is basically not even a one third of what else is coming out. Here’s a list of all the things that have been confirmed so far to be releasing in the rest of 2017:
The Sims 4 FREE Content Update
Before each Expansion Pack release The Sims Team likes to add some features to The Sims 4 Base Game that are either necessary or unnecessary for the Expansion Pack that’s being released. This time is no exception with new roof types and tools.
This probably isn’t the only addition to this content update so stay tuned for more information and features that might be added.
The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack for PC / Mac
So far we know that The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack is DEFINITELY coming out in November, however there’s a leak saying that it’ll come out for Xbox One / PS4 as well. SimGuruDrake addressed that quickly saying that it won’t be coming out for Consoles in November so we’re either getting this pack for consoles in December or next year.
The Sims 4 Console: Various DLCs
Various Packs have been confirmed to be launched on November 17th, including City Living Expansion Pack, Vampires Game Pack, Vintage Glamour Stuff Pack and Perfect Patio Stuff Pack which’ll be available for individual purchase after Nov 17th.
The Sims Mobile
Lyndsay Pearson confirmed that The Sims Mobile will be available worldwide “later this year”, meaning that there are less than 3 months for this game to make its worldwide debut on iOS and Android devices. It’s currently soft-launched in 2 countries (Brazil and Spain) and the development is very active with new features / bug fixes releasing each month.

There will not be a season pass for downloadable content.
Will downloadable content on console have all the same content as their PC/Mac equivalents?
Yes, the console version of the DLC will have everything that the PC/Mac versions have.

Yes, prices will be on par with those in Origin, not including sales/promotions.
The Sims 4 Console Bundle Coming November 17th
The Sims Team has just announced a new bundle for The Sims 4 that’s exclusive to the Console version. According to the development team this bundle includes “the best” packs for The Sims 4 including Vintage Glamour Stuff Pack, Vampires Game Pack and City Living Expansion Pack.
They haven’t released information about the price but according to the Console DLC info page it’ll be cheaper if you buy these packs in this Bundle rather than purchasing each pack individually.
We’ll update this post as new info surface.
The Sims 4 Console: First DLC Coming with Launch
During Sims Camp 2017 we received exclusive information about first packs that are coming to The Sims 4 for Xbox One and PS4.
Down below you’ll see a list of all packs that will be releasing on the day of The Sims 4 Console release and that is November 17th.
- The Sims 4 Vintage Glamour Stuff Pack
- The Sims 4 Perfect Patio Stuff Pack (available as Pre-Order bonus – will be available as a standalone pack after the base game release)
- The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack
- The Sims 4 City Living Expansion Pack
The prices for these packs will be the same as packs for PC / Mac, meaning that Stuff Packs are priced $9.99, Game Packs are priced $19.99 and Expansion Packs are priced $39.99.
As a reminder please note that you won’t be able to transfer packs that you own on Origin to your Console account, meaning that if you plan to play these packs on your Xbox One / PS4 you’ll have to purchase each pack individually.

The Sims 4 Laundry Day: Animated Clothesline Preview
SimGuruGraham shared a new preview of the Clothesline Gameplay Object that’s coming in The Sims 4 Laundry Day Stuff Pack. Comparing the current preview with previous ones it seems that The Sims Team has finished developing this particular objects.
If you look closely you’ll even see clothing moving slowly!
iPhone 8 – Now Available for The Sims 4! (Mod)
Your Sims are probably tired from the same old brick phone they have in their pockets. Treat them with the new iPhone 8 (and iPhone 8 plus) by downloading littledica’s latest mod for The Sims 4!
This mod replaces the original phone that comes preinstalled in the game with an iPhone 8. You’ll notice that, compared to the preinstalled phone, the iPhone 8 textures and mesh are detailed with a lot of curves and edges (known as polygons).
There are 3 colors to choose from: Space Gray, Silver and Gold. There are 2 different iPhone versions too that have all these colors: the regular iPhone 8 and the plus size.
When installing the iPhone 8 mod please make sure you only pick one version and color of the phone.
You can install the iPhone 8 mod by extracting the .zip file to Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder. Make sure you have Mods / CC enabled in your game options!

The Sims 4: Introducing The Upgrowth Challenge
Hey Simmers!
I am super excited to announce that today is the day that the Upgrowth Challenge drops! I’ve been pretty active creating build challenges over the past few months, so I hope I’m not shocking too many since this time I’ve switch gears!
The Upgrowth Challenge is not for building, however it does require the player to grow a whole world around them. Essentially when you start the challenge it’s the 1890s, in an almost vacant Windenburg, and it’s your job to progress your chosen family’s bloodline through 10 generations.
This challenge requires you to use mods, but newbies, don’t fret! I’ve created some tutorials which will help you set up the challenge step by step. Setting up can be pretty long, but if you really want a challenge that will keep you occupied for a while, this one will do the trick!
