EP11 Postcard Front

We’ve received a mysterious new Postcard from The Sims Team both via mail and in our inbox about this brand new town called Henford-on-Bagley!

As you can see in the front of the Postcard there’s a new countryside world coming to The Sims 4…and we got intel from Mrs. Crumplebottom that it might be related to the brand new Expansion Pack for The Sims 4 coming this summer!

However there’s more!

There’s a whole back of the post card as well with a personal message from none other but the Crumplebottoms!

The Crumplebottoms invited us to their new world filled with countryside life and…garden stalls that await for us on Henford-on-Bagley?

Anyways, here’s the full message:

Dearest friend,

We are so pleased you’re joining us in Henford-on-Bagley! I’m sure you will enjoy the quaint countryside life. Do come visit us at our Garden Stall when you arrive!

– A & A Crumplebottom

P.S. – I heard the mayor talking about a worldwide tourism video for Henford-on-Bagley premiering June 10 at 8:00AM Pacific Time on YouTube.com/TheSims! How exciting!

Is it actually happening … Are we finally getting farming?

Farming and fairies sounds legit. Either enjoy the wonders of the countryside and the rustic dinners or head off to the midsummer woods to frolic. Sounds like the perfect getaway.

Don’t know why but I read this post in a British accent lol. Loving the country vibe tho.

The town name sounds very British, cuz it’s Somewhere-On-Somewhere and the picture looks about right so I’d say this is a British themed world so you’re probably right
I don’t know if that naming format is particularly common in other countries tho

im freakin READY!!! IM SO READY!! <3<3<3 finally a pack i can stand behind. im not worried about farming, and tbh if they are referring to an english style guarden, thats just another name they call their yard and not an actual like farming flower garden lol. i just feel farming might be quite a big jump, and tbh i could just play farming simulator if i wanted to farm. it gets quite boring after a while bc its so repetitive, but i do miss horses in the sims 3. the pack they might be giving us might just be a quaint cottage countryside. i see lanterns and im really excited to see this town at night..i really hope theres fireflies. im keeping my expectations small, and with this theme, im happy with whatever i get tbh bc this is the only style of home i build, and have wanted an english countryside themed pack for a very long time.

im very excited and have been waiting for a pack with an english countryside theme since the sims 3. i do miss the horses, but im not too worried about farming bc i could just play farming simulator if i wanted to farm, but to each there own. a garden stall sounds lovely and im thinking i might be able to sell my fruits and veggies to the npc’s walking by finally, but one can hope. what im most interested about other than being genuinely excited to see this world at night im hoping there are copious amounts of fireflies, is the gnome!! the drawing of the gnome i really hope is an actual garden statue, and im very anxious for the pack. hes absolutely adorable with his little flowers, and his mushroom cap.

Do you think we’re finally gonna be able to sell stuff from a residential lot? I hadn’t even thought of that when I heard garden stall but that’s a really good point I’ve been wanting that feature since retail first dropped in GTW

We’ve been able to sell stuff on residential lots. The yard sale tables have been introduced in multiple packs. If you’re asking if we can run a residential/retail combo lot then no, I doubt it. It would be nice if we could eventually see the return of combo lots though. With how little lot amounts we receive in each pack combo lots would allow us to do so much more with our worlds.

Yeah you’re right, it’s always bothered me how you can’t have a live-in store (well you can live in it but you need a house elsewhere) but I wasn’t aware we actually had yard sale tables, I guess maybe I don’t have the right packs
