If we don’t have the police to arrest them and the police cars to take them away, I’m afraid we’ll be disappointed.

I’m excited, but wont be participating. Updating your game on update day is just the best way to become frustrated due to lack of testing. So I wait until the kinks get worked out. I am patient. Like a good burglar.

No! I love that this game doesn’t have them. They’re so traumatic. As someone whose home has been broken in to, I hate this!

i understand why a feature like this could be upsetting to you, but i don’t think that just because something is traumatic that it shouldn’t be in a game simulating life. death is traumatic and it’s still a huge feature in the sims games. there are tons of mods that disable game features that a player might not like, hopefully someone can create one disabling burglars for people like you. there also may just be an in-game option for disabling them, like how you can disable lay-offs. getting your house robbed can be an annoying and gameplay disturbing experience for any player lol. i wouldn’t want to go through the effort of replacing the furniture or whatever.

I hope they’re kind of common. I forgot they added firefighters as I can’t get my sims to realy light anything up

true, I also wish house fires were more dangerous and wouldn’t stop as soon as a sim catches fire. I loved the thrill of risking having half of your house burn down in previous games, when you forgot to put a fire alarm.

Unpopular opinion, but I’m not looking forward to this at all. I hope there is a way to turn it off in gameplay. I mean sure for some of the save files I don’t care, but for others, absolutely not. Alot of us spend days/weeks building our homes, even down to what clutter items and where to place it to be how we like, and we’ll that’s really gonna suck to have burglars come in and screw it up. But oh well, I guess.
