The Sims 4 Console has just recently received an update which fixes a few bugs and adds a few objets. What The Sims Team didn’t mention in the patch notes are the minor updates for the resize feature on The Sims 4 Console, and those are:
- You no longer use L2 + R2 + Up & Down on D-Pad but L2 + R2 + Left & Right to resize.
- The ability to make objects smaller has finally been added. Just select an object and use L2 + RT + Left D-Pad button to make any object that you’ve selected smaller.

For PS4 it’s L2 and R2. So unless you’re talking about Xbox, it’s not a typo.

Yeah…. So we all knew what L2 means.. That wasn’t a typo.. People have been doing that on purpose for a long time..
Nice attempt at correction though.. Someone almost gave a $h!t… ✌
It’s still not working for me, I am playing on PlayStation 4 and I am following all the steps that have been given so I am confused.

Jus keep clicking both L2 R2 at the same time once u have the object

I know this is late but..You may have to activate the cheat bar first by pressing (L1,R1,L2,R2) at the same time during LIVE mode and when the cheat bar pops up in the upper left corner.. Type in
bb.moveobjects
That works for me. Good luck!!
