EA and The Sims released the official trailer yesterday for the new Sims 4 Expansion Pack: Eco Lifestyle. This is the first expansion pack for The Sims 4 to come out since last November 2019, when Discover University was released.
As soon as the trailer dropped, opinions instantly began surfacing. If you hadn’t already guessed it, simmers are quite torn on what to think about the new addition coming on June 5th! Although we don’t know all the details of what this new expansion pack has in store, I wanted to gather opinions from the community based solely off the information we currently have for the pack. So I kicked off the discussion with this question:
Hey Simmers! Since the trailer dropped for #EcoLifestyle I would love to get your opinions on the pack based purely off what we currently know. Also your thoughts in general of where TS4 seems to be going!Respond on this thread & it could be in a future @TheSimCommunity article!
— The Property Sims (@thepropertysims) May 6, 2020
I received many responses from all varieties of sims fans. To provide a safe space for discussion, I made sure to not provide my own opinion. This article is completely unbiased, and will purely provide the responses from simmers who participated in commenting on this tweet.
Based off those who responded, it seems the largest consensus is that many players don’t agree this should be a full Expansion Pack. More like Eco Lifestyle should have been designed as a Game Pack, like Strangerville.
I’ve never been so torn about a pack lol. I’m not a fan of this pack being an expansion, because i can’t see it being worth $40. However, there are SO many cute items for builders, and I applaud Maxis for creating a pack about helping our planet. But… why’s it not a game pack?
— Bailey (@beeleyyt) May 6, 2020
I think it sound really exciting and it seems to be a cool theme, however i am still holding on to my opinion that it should’ve been a game pack
— OopOliverOliverOliverOliver (@Oliver42954961) May 6, 2020
As a vegan I love the theme, I’m just confused at how this is EP worthy from what they’ve shown. It feels like they’ve added a new look with some new gameplay to items we already have. I really want to love it though
— TheYorkieLad (@TheYorkieLad) May 6, 2020
Others are concerned about the amount content for the price of the pack. That, along with the thought that much of what the trailer showed seemed to many that it was “recycled” (no pun intended) content from past packs.
It looks like they took the left overs from other packs and smashed them into this one with a new skin.
— Mary Olsen (@MrsMOlsen) May 6, 2020
I genuinely do not think there is enough content in this game to justify the cost of it. It is just recycled themes from past content.
— Tina🍜 (@vibrant_circus) May 6, 2020
its recycled tiny living, island paradise and strangerville for $40
— jaya 🙂 (@jayasdumb) May 6, 2020
Cool concept but not to be used for an expansion pack. It’s literally the same as cleaning up Sulani, just set in a city.😑😣
— Agnieszka (@agnzaa) May 6, 2020
Although there looks to be a lot of controversy around Eco Lifestyle, for those who are excited about the new EP you’re definitely not alone! There’s a lot of enthusiasm for the sustainability aspect and being able to help with a real-life issue in game.
i personally love the idea of a eco pack! i think that it’s great that the sims team is trying a new approach at something new. hopefully the pack is as promising as it looks!
— Shane 🏭➡️🏡 (@shanesims05) May 6, 2020
I’m so excited for this pack I love the vibe I live for the build items/aesthetic and also love how it emphasizes community interaction
— 👑Prince⭐️ (@thedemidonut) May 7, 2020
-but some good came out of it. like all of the new features of multitasking, vibrant worlds, cas and easy build mode – But I think towards the end it’ll be one of the best sims games
— Acidlure (@acidlure) May 7, 2020
I love the look of the expansion from what we have seen so far, the concept is wonderful , love the direction the Sims 4 appears to be heading , off the grid in Sulani with a nod to conservation , Tiny living and now Eco lifestyle , I’m here for it all ❤️
— PugOwned Plays the Sims (@PugownedS) May 6, 2020
Since this pack has already created lots of mixed feelings, I wanted to see what some simmers thought could have been a better EP, or to just voice their opinions on what they’d like to see for TS4 in the future.
As sort of a “Part 2” to my earlier post – if you don’t think Eco Lifestyle is what the community wants in an expansion pack – what would have been better? What is an expansion pack that would have made you more content?
— The Property Sims (@thepropertysims) May 6, 2020
It’s no surprise that some players want to see something more along the lines of TS3: Generations, or something entirely new (but long awaited and asked for) like a Farming pack. There are also some Sims fans who wish that the effort being put into new packs would instead go into current gameplay and packs.
As for farming It would be nice to have a little management system like crops, fruits, veggies, meat, etc having that in TS4 would of automatically sold me
— Acidlure (@acidlure) May 7, 2020
Maybe like generations but with a twist, approaching traditions, cultures… not necessarily religion, but something that includes a lot of gameplay and differentiation between households 💐
— Guildu (@thesimssul) May 6, 2020
I’m not really concerned about packs, I don’t want painting over the cracks, I’d rather they put things into the base game like story progression, meaningful relationships, shopping for groceries and clothes. I can’t even begin to think of how much they’ll monetise TS5
— Tacos (@Tacos2sc) May 7, 2020
Regardless of divided opinions, The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle is coming out on June 5th! What are your thoughts on the new addition to TS4? Let me know below in the comments below. Please be thoughtful, and respectful, when voicing your opinions!
Dag, dag for now!
Hi can you fix the mufybeds from breacking all the time when your sims sleeps in them it get anoing?that’s way I never use them. I hope the somg in all the world don’t get anoint having clean the song up all the time you won’t be all to do nothing else.if you don’t clean it will be somgy all the time.can your sims get sick from the somg ? That would be great the only time your sims get sick Is flu or allergy.
What if sims 4 made a farm expansion where you could have chickens, horses, cows, goats, pigs you know the whole farm deal. And have raised bed garden pot much bigger for bulk planting. Maybe a farmer’s market to sell the stuff at they can rent out stalls and set up a table and the higher quality their goods the more money they can sell it for. On the farm it could have the option to be off grid living and have objects like a butter churn, cow milking station, a well to get water from, and a chicken coop with different items to put inside it. A whole farm decor both homey country and high end country. And you could make another world where it’s a cute little farming town with big empty lots so you could build up your farm. Farming sims could be so fun!!! 🙂
This pack is really confusing. Every time I try to vote at the boards it says I can only vote in my hometown, and I’m in my neighborhood. I don’t really understand the action plans and how to work with them or fix up my neighborhood at all. It’s just a lot of confusion, honestly. There’s so many other things I wish they’d worry about, and so many things from previous versions I just want back, like horses with breeding and training etc. Sims 4 has felt like huge steps back from the start.

I wouldn’t know since i can no longer play the game anymore, and now you have to pay actual money now after the last few updates.
I don’t think the pack is worth 40$ because the gameplay is connected solely to the new world. However, I’ll certainly buy it on sale. I like the clothing, furniture, etc.
I personally love all the content of the new EP, it totally fits my playstyle! I am buying the pack!
The pack has some really nice furniture and clothing but will it add depth to the actual gameplay? No. The base game is already lacking things in certain areas and need to be improved on. Sure, there are nice cosmetic things to make your game look more appealing it lacks any actual gameplay. The Sims personalities are shallow and not as complex like they were back in the other games but it would be nice if this pack added more traits or even developed on the old ones to give your Sims more personality instead of all acting the same. For example, If a Slob or Lazy Sim lives in a smoggy area they would probably won’t even bother to care or fix environment or make it worse. Or if your Sim has the Loves the Environment trait they would feel the need to plant trees and plants to save and look after the environment. I wanna see my Sims reacting in different ways to the environment depending on what their traits are.
But for now. I’m still unsure if this pack would be worth the full 40 bucks.
How do you know if it is solely connected to the new world. Yeah the voting space and the making the city a better place will probably be tied to the new world but, those are not the only features included in the pack. Wait until it comes out then you can bash the pack.
Besides, I did not bash the pack, I said what I think about the cost. Reread everything before responding, Karen
I agree with what you said about the pack, but you really need to chill
Besides, I did not bash the pack, I said what I think about the cost. Reread everything before responding.
It’s confirmed that only the new world will be polluted. I suggest you stop being offensive and ignore the comments you do not like because we are here to express our opinion. If you’ve got some issues, it’s not the right place to show those.
Actually its been confirmed by the devs that the pollution will be in all worlds except for destination worlds and strangerville!
Wait really, all the worlds will be polluted?! If that’s true I’m 100% more excited for this pack! I was already excited but this bumped it up for me.
I think the gameplay is not constrained to only Evergreen Harbour, that is why it is an “Expansion pack”, same effect applies to all the other worlds should you choose to buy it, (at least that is my hope, otherwise it is indeed not worth it).
@ Jay One aspect of the gameplay is connected (pollution or not) but everything else can be used outside of the world. Not sure about the voting aspect but I think that also ties into the pollution to a degree. EPs go on sale relatively soon after release so you can get it for the price of a game pack which isn’t that bad. It’s the first time I believe that it will be released on all platforms at the same time which is good for console players who feel left out often.
The community lots and the voting with those can be placed in other worlds as well … same as the pollution that can be in most of the other worlds… and put on pause…
I still don’t think this should be an expansion pack. At first glance at the trailer I was so disappointed. But the more I went through it and looked at all the build and buy mode, I actually think I’ll like this pack. Now as for the game play…I probably won’t be that interested. Again, I still this should of been a game pack.
To me no expansion pack is worth what they charge full price. They’re all glorified DLC. Should be 10 bucks 15 bucks max
They’ve stated that pollution gameplay will be in all maps except vacation worlds and strangerville, but will also be controllable in settings for players that don’t want that to happen.
I would purchase it as a game pack but not an expansion pack.
“We asked for your opinions but we don’t care!!” That’s what I got from that…
What if sims 4 made a farm expansion where you could have chickens, horses, cows, goats, pigs you know the whole farm deal. And have raised bed garden pot much bigger for bulk planting. I will only buy it once it’s half off! I don’t think it will be worth 40 dollars. Excited to play when I do buy it in sale!
We’ve been asking for all sorts of things (farming that isn’t hopelessly buggy, horses, etc) since the game launched and here they are, reskinning unused assets and throwing it at us for $60. It just feels like a cash grab and I’m not happy about it.
It just doesn’t look or sound fun. It adds chores to do then we already have in the game. We already have random sims who trash the place, in which we clean up, and now to add something like this just sucks. Missing keyword: “Fun.” Takes all the fun away. I’m only really excited about the build items, other than that, it’s not worth $40 and I will not be buying anytime soon.
I’m getting fed up with all the fuss about babies. We have the toddler life stage, after all. What could we really do with them? Bathe them in a sink, take them out in a pram, change them at a station, put them in a baby chair/swing? That’s not an EP, for sure.
Would like both traditional and electric cars with this. Glad pollution is going to affect other worlds. Sulani is literally picking up some waste n chasing seagulls at the moment, then it’s a tiny bit ‘even more beautiful!’ Yes, ladders should have come with Tiny Living.
Can you put a car in it
I’m genuinely excited for this pack. I like that they expanded on an existing area of the game that players complained seemed incomplete & that it ties in so well with Tiny Living. The aesthetic of the build & buy items is right up my alley & we finally get ladders! I’m really intrigued by the new community lot gameplay & the Etsy-esque sales platform & I live that they are giving us a variety of craftable items for that purpose. I won’t lie, I already pre-ordered it.
I’ve preordered it as well, now, totally turned my opinion around with the rush of more information about it after the trailer. People have been complaining on missing out of the community festival lots as seen in Sims 3 Seasons around and about the web For a while, so community lots coming is a nice nod to that sort of feature, too.
Hence why we’ll always get rubbish. EA knows they will always rake it in regardless from morons who preorder. If you actually waited until reviews were out and saw what gameplay was like, they wouldn’t make any money and we might get some decent content for once.
Hi can you fix the mufybeds from breacking all the time when your sims sleeps in them it get anoing?that’s way I never use them. This is unacceptable. I’ve played this game franchise for 20 years now and it is so ridiculous how much the content costs for such poor quality. This should have just been update stuff. The last few packs have had really underwhelming fashion items, re-skinned items, lack of new and engaging functions that you can actually find stimulating for more than 12 minutes. I’m really upset with this pack’s trailer. Why not have an amusement park, or casino, or cruise ship or a mall, or farm or fairies and werewolves/mummies and zombies, or shop for groceries or something that would be fun to build and play in. I just cannot understand how playing with virtual trash, what looks like voting, making candles, ugly clothes and hairstyles (although the gauges are nice) and raising bugs would make a 40 dollar pack worth my time, my sims would have an even worse time being upset at air quality and dirty outside surroundings, that’s not a fun challenge, it’s just tedious. I hope the knitting stuff will be better.
EA Game Changers turned every youtuber into suck ups and any real, honest, information is buried underneath the combined flood of payola sell outs. Bottom line, the game was never that good, it had it’s moments, but it was broken from the start. The only decent packs (i’m referring to everything as “packs”) were ideas already out there, done by modders. “Get Famous” = “Road to Fame”, “Get to work” = “Active Careers”, “Discover University” = “Go to school”, “Island Living” = “that one amazing mod that transformed granite falls into a tropical getaway”. Except for this little original nugget of complete dog sh*t…..what a pile of garbage this pack is (no pun intended) this is the exact opposite of fun gaming….i need to stop, it’s over, it’s done with, it sucks, it doesn’t surprise me and there are a ton of better games out there. Goodbye Sims, thanks for slamming the door on my way out.
At first i thought it was a lame concept, but after i saw the trailer, I started to like it, i am REALLY excited for the new windmills and solar panels
I’m very neutral about the Eco EP. Like, I understand that some people think EA is recycling stuff but I mean, we don’t really know what is going to come in the EP besides a new city and a windmill. I’d say we should wait for the finished product. They might surprise us
I agree! You can’t bash something when you’ve only seen a trailer
However, I see a lot of decorative items that I am excited to view and add into houses.
I think that the community is being very pessimistic here. We are getting something new, with a lot of cool features that we asked before! Like ladders, crafting, and so on.
We are so focused on the mistakes that we fail to see what’s new. I for one, am in love with this EP. I think it’s fresh and bold and I an awesome addition to our gameplay. And it’s raising awareness to think green which is something very actual nowadays.
I saw some comments of people asking for traditions, – don’t we have that already? And for deeper relationships, I agree with that, but there’s something we can ask for and not bash an entire pack just because we didn’t get what we want.
I love the sims and I am really excited about this pack!
But it isn’t new. This pack is essentially Island Living but in an industrial world where instead of treating water quality you’re treating air pollution. If they were actually giving profits to an environmental charity I might consider it maybe worth at least half the money, but they aren’t. Not to mention we’ve had three packs revolving around echo living already. We’re tired and what something that actually changes the game, not something that’s the same product in different packaging.
In reality shouldn’t we worry about water and air? They are trying to raise awareness to the idea of recycling, conservation, and everything else. I see where you think that. But you have only seen a trailer. You can’t destroy the pack because you think it isn’t different enough.
They try so hard to make content for everyone, some people didn’t want farming. I personally wasn’t that excited. However, I also think that it wouldn’t be the worst thing to have to recycle. As we should be doing this anyway. And heck, maybe if we don’t recycle. You can pollute the air in other worlds. That would be a cool gameplay future.
Amanda, since this pack is adding the effect of SMOG in the game, it would be great if the team went passed mediocrity and empty no depth content, by making a CONNECTION between the SMOG and TRANSPORTATION, where sims could then have the option to have eco-friendly cars, trains or airplanes and eco friendly factories. They could have also incorporated regular factories like coal plant lots (non rabbit hole and functional) that comes with a CAREER and regular non-eco-friendly transportation. Adding more theme sof pollution especially mog in sims 4 right no is ttely absurd when we dont even have the sim life-changing things that CONNECTs with the pollution concept. Its another empty pack.
I do agree with transportation aspect and I think that could come once cars are introduced into base game as the team does go back to update features at times depending on the pack. It wouldn’t go over well if they made some of those items EP exclusive (though eco friendly car should be available for those who buy this pack down the road and if they wisely add trailers that should be available for outdoor retreat players). I think they would feel more inclined to do it if the pollution aspect is popular enough alongside players that want cars and public transport. A career in factory work would be interesting but I don’t know if some players would find that boring because of how limiting it could be. I think freelancer would fit better to give players more freedom to craft. If we had items that can promote pollution that would help with builds though.
getting? it took them six years to get ladders, and the crafting of junk couches, soda, and candles while hanging out in a new world consisting of trash is absolutely ridiculous. Did they think that the greatest part of Island living was picking up trash so they just stepped it up a notch. I wanted crafting as well but I didn’t want people stealing crap to benefit the environment, streaking, flirting randomly, playing instruments randomly (there were mods to stop that annoying bull) this pack makes no sense, and all it did was make things even more f-d up, 400 clayballs, 150 cubes, it’s like they found a way to override all the mods out there that stop the stupidity, add a few dozen more annoying things and then cranked it up ten-fold. F-this game. And don’t say “turn it off”….disabling the eco crap doesn’t stop it completely. This must be their last add on, their way of going out with a big f-all of u,
I think so too!
I agree!
Conflicted feelings with this pack definitely, but I’m optimistic and can’t make a judgement til I’ve seen the whole thing. The gurus make it seem like there’s more so we will just have to wait and see!
I work in environmental science, and I’m concerned this pack will encourage misunderstandings of renewable energy sources. I know it’s just a game, but I hope the developers include some realistic drawbacks to things like home-installed solar panels and wind turbines – like high costs, maintenance, brown outs, and/or the need for a back up generator.
I would have preferred a farming pack or something with historical gameplay. And I agree the base aspects of the game need more depth, particularly relationships. (Remember in Sims 2 when sims could have unrequited feelings for each other?)
Preach! I have been really concerned about this too because what they have shown us is definitely not fitting to the title of this expansion pack. Eco-friendly/sustainable living is far from diving in the trash can, lol. I wish they had done some research and focused more on actual sustainability. Imagine if they basically gave us an off-the-grid-world which functioned just as fine as regular worlds. THAT would be something.
I think it’s going to be a great pack, and some people just aren’t giving it a chance. But at the same time not all packs are for everyone. I do think it’s a really cool concept and I am very much looking forward to buying and playing with this pack!
This pack seems to be made of leftovers or missing content from other packs. Definitely not worth the EP price tag.
I don’t think it is worth as an expansion pack, more like a game pack to me. Maybe I will change my opinion after I see the gameplay before release. But, I am excited to know that maybe we can live with Bill free with this new pack
I am really sad about it. I feel like it’s really un creative and unessicery.
At first, I was a bit disappointed too, but the more I watched the trailer & saw more and more interesting stuff I started to like it better! It seems like an interesting concept to me, me being a big fan of greenery, recycling and repurposing!
An triple A’s game as a lot of codes in it.
So many plants! There were also more cars in the trailer than others, maybe its a sign? I hope so.
Some great items included, but not interested in Eco game play at all, and not enough in it to warrant it being an Expansion Pack. Especially if the gameplay is restricted to the new World only.
This pack is not grabbing my attention at all, I’m actually disappointed with it. I would much rather have farming with horses and cows and other farm animals. I also like the historical idea as well. Would be cool to have something set in the 17th or 18th century with royal families from that time and farming could be included in that because that’s what they had to do to survive. I really want horses, I think that would be so cool too and they would fit in with the historical aspect because they were a huge part of travel and transport. Just my thoughts, the Eco EP looks boring.
Even if I was the most eco-friendly person in the world I wouldn’t spend $40 on this.
Man. I can’t wait for Paralives
In my opinion, I think that the two new offerings for the Sims 4 are just plain awful and completely ridiculous. I won’t buy them and my friends have all decided that they dont want them. I clean enough in the real world. I play the Sims for an escape. I won’t ruin that with these boring packs.
I feel like if this trailer came before the fake county livin’ pack people may have been slightly more open minded… I think people got their hopes up about a possible farming pack so when this one was announced people were disappointed
When I first saw the trailer I actually thought it was for a new gamepack but unfortunately not. I noticed there were definitely some recycled animations and objects, like the animation when the guy in the trailer hugs the worm which is the same as hugging a hamster in My First Pet
stuff. But I do like the items and furniture in this pack. I just wish there were more animations so it feel like your sims have more personality and uniqueness instead of reusing and cycling though the same animations in base game and other packs.
Farming is ECO too why don’t they make it ? We already have Island paradise and it feel the same as this pack .
Just do an expansion where you try to become a famous rock band already. It can be like get famous but band version instead of acting. Instead of agencies it’s record companies etc
yes! more songs, multiple people playing instruments, the sims 4 is a p.o.s., with a few gleams of potential but this eco pack is completely, it’s just, wow, all the stupidity of the original autonomy (seems to be less lag, which is good?) with an added dose of crack. Disabling autonomy for selected sim….nah forget that, let him grab 47 intellicubes and 200 lumps of clay, let’s have a kleptomaniac town party because that’s f-ing eco friendly, or better yet, nothing helps the environment more than free love, streaking and hitting on random people is definitely green….wtf. This crap always seems to come right after almost reaching the point of modded nirvana. The right amount of mods that make the game tolerable enough to somewhat enjoy, then poof…..new pack…..I loved Island living, even tolerated the 8000 meals in my dorm and losing important items needed to graduate with Discover University, but this eco pack, ugh….even turning it off leaves traces of the enhanced autonomous stupidity. I filled out the survey, and was one that wanted more crafting but not like this. The only plus is that I can use the recycler to remove all the s**t stuck in my inventory. Then I can craft a sh***y uncomfortable couch or bed, or protein plate however that f***ing logic works. This is my rant, it’s all over the place, I’m not reviewing or correcting it but leaving this typed verbal vomit to keep from smashing my computer (it’s not my computers fault) this is the last one for me.
Oh yeah, bands, that was it, instead of getting something fun like that we get a new city…..that is a dump, and the ability to craft crap out of crap oh and make candles and soda…..well done EA/Maxxis, well done
I think the pack looks so cool! My friend thinks it could of been a game pack, but i think it’s actually perfect. And do i have to mention, paper bag head, new piercings and LADDERS?
Are the any supernatural sims new expansion in this like plants sims fairy sims witches warewolf Mother Nature sim or something
Plant sims are in the base game. You need to buy the tree stump with slots in it and collect magic beans. Grow the tree with the beans and travel in the tree portal. Get the forbidden fruit and eat it. or if you cheat select your sim and it should say “change to plant sim ” i hope this helps?
I was really excited for a farming pack, in a cute country setting with cows, chickens, goats, llamas (which would interplay nicely with the knitting pack). A little town square with weekly farmer’s markets to sell produce to other sims – the better grade your product, the better it sells. Would also play into Get to Work retail options, if wanted. Perhaps simmers don’t want to deal with selling at the market, they could just get a payout by selling their product to the grocery store. I was really hoping for an irrigation/sprinkler system like TS3. The farming pack would be a good opportunity for canning, nectar making, and maybe cultivating a map as opposed to a rehashed clean-up system/what they had in Sulani. They talked about adding a mayor option, and being able to customize the map through that path – I think a smaller, rural map would be a good opportunity for that.
I personally don’t think the pack is something worth being a EP. I feel as if they should spend more time on the base game and making it into something players would like to play by itself. I would enjoy more story progressions and new, better movements and motions. The pack isn’t something that I would personally buy because plan and simple I just don’t care for it tho I do truly love the game and franchise. I just hope the game will start getting better.
It’s always so easy to spot the vegan. I agree, this is just island and tiny living reskinned. Not worth $40.
I have to collect dog shit all the time. And they look human. Now I have to collect all the cities? It takes me all day to clean up my sims.
Pre-ordered it now. There are some features I’m really looking forward too!
What is the point in an eco-friendly pack (which is repetitive content that is not actually new) when there are no cars, no trails, no airplanes, no operable workable factories like coal plants, etc? Is Bob pancakes’ farts creating the carbon footprint? This is another EMPTY pack with no connection the actual gameplay as a way of enhancement. The whole point of eco friendly is to deal with things that cause pollution is it not? WHERE are the actual game-changing exciting contents creating the pollution? What better way to incorporate BOTH exciting and educational eco-friendly messages by having CONTENT in the game that JUSTIFIES THE USAGE OF THIS REPETITIVE PACK.
There is no point in this pack if there is nothing GAME-CHANGING actually producing the carbon footprint IN A WAY that ENHANCES sim’s daily lives again, cars trains, airplanes, NON RABBIT HOLE workable factories, etc.
i just want babies that arent furniture and better life states where we have a reason to play through each life states. atm babies and elders have nothing.
like a lot of people, I VERY disappointed by this EP. The eco life theme could be great but NOT in an EP. why don’t make an good SP with it ?! I want an EP about farming, cultures and the means to exploit and transform them. Cattle (without the need to kill animals). We could also include ecological gameplay with differences between organic products and those used with fertilizers.
At this point, I’m much more excited about what “Paralives” shows us than because we show the sims!
The content is probably not bad, but releasing it as an addition ….?????
I have had no interest since this pack came out definitely feel its a waste of time and money and wont be purchasing it
This is the first pack EP I haven’t immediately been excited about. I currently dont plan to buy it. Maybe during a good sale in a year or so.
I am glad they saved me $50 between this and knitting….like back to animal crossing i go…havent touched the sims 4 in MONTHS. I have all the other packs and will be glad to not give them any money for awhile… These 2 new ones dont interest me at all…..
I have to confess that I’ve been playing Sims 3 lately. I miss the open world. I hope Sims 5 brings that back and makes it fun to play again.
Looks like fun. Yea! New stuff 🙂 looking forward to it .
There is always somthing in these packs for someone 🙂
I was initially disappointed as I was really looking forward to the country living pack which turned out to be a fake leak. Now that I’m getting over that disappointment, I appreciate the build items that I can see in the trailer. I like the idea of having a world that’s dirty (I’d probably opt to leave it that way eventually). I really like the community voting thing too. But I have to agree with what a lot of people are saying, this feels like a pack which is a mish-mash of ideas implemented in other packs. While we did ask for this theme in 2017, time has marched on and in that time they’ve added stuff from that theme to the game already. Which begs the question, why is this not a game pack?
