The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies CAS Overview features all 160 Create-a-Sim assets, so you can either decide whether you want this Expansion Pack, or, if you already own it, discover and find exactly what you are looking for swiftly.

Out of the 160 items, 49 are tattoos and 12 are assets that are the same for adults, but resized for children and toddlers. 03 are recolors or variations of the same asset, leaving 96 unique items that are not tattoos. That is a fairly large amount. Swatches often don’t just add new shades, but different prints, patterns and textures. No of déjà vu here, they are not items that feel like repeats of other Packs. They follow current fashion trends and are specific to the location setting, Northern Europe. But we can delve into that more in the Conclusion. For now, the items!

Our Review

The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies CAS Overview shows that there’s more balance than usual in this Expansion Pack. A lot of masculine content doesn’t feel like unisex outfits that men also get, but, instead, specifically designed for their frame, highlighting current trends in men’s fashion. They really needed new shoes and got five gorgeous pairs. All life stages are included and there is more for children than usual. Plus, the Infant looks are adorable!
Feminine choices are plentiful, still. There’s a lot of elegant clothing and the feel of fit, patterns and materials is upscale, with a strong European flair. Shades and styles are specifically Nordic and, while some Sims DLC seem to echo and repurpose what is already in the game, these offerings don’t. They are fresh and exciting.
Given the Expansion features, we get many tattoos of all kinds and it will be a lot easier to express visually who your sims are through body art. The hats have a more snuggle and flattering fit than usual and accessories give old money. Some of the hairstyles are outstanding, but others are a bit baffling… It seems that in the urge of give us novelty they overshot and a few cuts are too out there.
Overall, this Expansion Pack seemed to try to fill gaps and fufill fan requests and delivered when it comes to Create-a-Sim. It’s also noticeable how the textures have more wrinkles, shadows and subtle wear-and-tear. Not in a way that makes the clothing look old or in poor condition, but, instead, taking away any glossy, plasticky impression and resembling fabric with realism.

Love those Sims! Did you create them? I’d love to have them in my game.
Asking again, in case you didn’t see. Where can I get the above Sims, are they on the gallery somewhere?
