A new quality-of-life feature will give players more control over how they browse items in both Paramaker and Build Mode.
Paralives Resizable Catalogues are coming to Paramaker and Build Mode in the game's next patch. The Paralives team revealed the upcoming feature in a short preview, demonstrating how players will be able to drag and resize the catalogue depending on how much space they want dedicated to browsing items.
The eight-second preview demonstrates the feature in both of Paralives' major creative modes, and we've captured the resizing process below for a closer look.
Resizing the Paramaker Catalogue
In Paramaker, the preview begins with a narrower clothing catalogue displaying two columns of items. Players can grab the edge of the catalogue and gradually pull it across the screen, increasing the number of items displayed without completely covering the Para they're currently customizing.
At its largest size shown in the preview, the catalogue displays four columns of clothing at once. Players can then adjust the panel again depending on whether they would rather prioritize browsing more options or keep more of their Para visible.

Build Mode Gets the Same Treatment
The same functionality is coming to Build Mode. The preview begins with a relatively narrow furniture catalogue before showing it expanded across a larger portion of the screen. As the panel grows, additional columns of furniture appear while the player's build remains visible alongside the catalogue.
For players with a growing collection of Build Mode items, being able to choose how much space the catalogue occupies should make it easier to browse without being locked into a single interface size.

A Familiar Request for The Sims 4 Players
The feature may stand out to players coming from The Sims 4, where an extended catalogue view has long been requested by members of the community. Mods can provide additional rows for easier browsing, but UI-based mods may require updates following game patches. Having Paralives resizable catalogues built directly into the game removes the need for an additional mod to get an expanded view.
Speaking of mods, Paralives already has a growing modding community of its own. We recently highlighted 20 Paralives mods covering gameplay overhauls, functional items, new Storytellers and smaller quality-of-life changes. Mods offer plenty of additional ways to customize the Early Access experience, but it is always useful to see frequently used interface options supported directly by the game.
